Gladiator Title:
you need 4 pieces of armour which are acquired from the chests(purchased with roman coins 2k - 2.5k roman coins each chest) at the coliseum:
Lorica Hamata (the armour chest)
Corinthian Helmet (Helmet chest)
Legate Greaves (greaves chest)
Legate Gloves (gloves chest)
Each Monday the chests at the coliseum change. so in 4 weeks it is possible to complete this MA and recieve the 'gladiator' title.
You will need a very large number of roman coins (i think i used around 100k romans coins to get all 4 armours) as the chests drop random armours, helmets etc. the 4 pieces needed for MA are quite rare drops. may need around 10-15 trys to recieve 1 of the pieces. fighting in the coliseum in a large fleet you gain you all more roman coins as well as XP. who ever is leading the missions, try take the 'total damage =500' missions with achievable sub-missions for better coins.

Trendsetter needs some luck, and you have to look the ornaments currently placed. Like if there is many North Africa ornaments, you should put North Africa ornament too if there isn't any trend in your capital. Having many ornaments from same culture can cause the trend, and you get title if you trigger it.

So its mostly luck title, very hard to get.

It was a special title granted to folks who started playing UWO when it launched on Steam. Seems this latest update gave the title to EVERYBODY, regardless of whether or not they used Steam... it only existed for bragging rights as far as I know, and has no real function.

"The mission at town official" is the historical event related quest we had between 23/1 - 30/1. You can't get it at the moment, so you can't get the title at the moment. In a future historical event again, surely.

in an historical event, just participate in it. in the battle of parvia (which has aready passed) every one gets the title once they win 50 battles. i think not all events can be participated in tho im not really sure, just wait for the next h. event, check the discription to see if u can participate in it, and do it a set number of times (not sure if always 50)

In my opinion, I would just get the title in another event. I don't know about you, but I never had the time to stay in the Baltic for more then an hour trying to gather up 500 deeds. Good thing I got the title during the Parvia event :D

For those people that don't know how to get certain titles: Meister titles and adept require certain production skills to be max rank (r15) (adept is alchemy). Circumliner is given to any player who completes the Circumliner event, which is started by talking to your nation king after getting SEA permit. Company membership title is given when one's company is above r4 (regardless of one's levels). Marechal is given after 50 wins (or battles, not sure) in battle campaign. Cassador is given when one kills 50 pirates by sea battle (can be same pirate or different). Graduate titles are given to players who completed schools of the required topic. Student is given to one who is still in school and the only title that is automatically removed (after one completes all three courses in school. Shipwreck hunter: complete 100 sw. Quip.... Either gotten by unlocking a inland city or from a quest chain (not sure). Oceloti is given to a player completing a long quest chain (end of chain also gives the jaguar costume thingy). Flower C: in the 6 major cites, not including genoa, give a few hundred thousands worth of gifts to the barmaids then drink with them. Make sure u get her presents. Do this for all the six cities and u should then have completed the memorial album. Claim the prize as well as the title. Relic hunter: exploration rate over 500. Trendsetter (not sure, needs a bit of luck I guess?) cultural C: 30k culture contri. Gladiator: (complete memorial album "right to call yourselves a swordsman? Not sure). Crainio E: 10k noto, filibuster job (might have other requirement not too sure) title can only be changed at pirate ports. Professor of V: 100 reported thesis. Steam explorer: every player who existed in UWO b4 second age will get this title. however, any char created after the update will not get the title. (Getting that title would have something to do with steam I guess) V...of history: participate in historical event. You're welcome

Oh, one more thing: Steam Explorer title seems to be gone. As in, you cannot select it, no matter when your character was created. One of my comp-mates still has it as a title for their selling alt; I expect if they were to change titles (which they refuse to ever do now), it would be impossible to reacquire. I base this statement on the fact that I used to see the title available on both of my characters, but cannot see it on either of them since a recent patch.

For Flower Connoisseur title, I find that 3-4 Admiral's Coat Admiral's coat seem to be enough to earn a barmaid gift (even if you've just met the barmaid for the first time). Investing in Pisa is pretty simple to do, as well.

Trendsetter: place an ornament in the Paris museum. If you trigger a cultural trend in your nation's city, the title (and the Trendsetter outfit) will be awarded to you after a cutscene with Medici in the Paris museum. You'll be notified via in-game mail if you trigger it.

The precise conditions for Trendsetter aren't fully known, but there are some definite factors.

1. You can display an ornament in the main hall (costs money and unpredictable due to other players) or in the small galleries (free, lasts one week). Trends can emerge regardless of which gallery you pick to display in, and I've known several people who got the Trendsetter title just from using small galleries, so unless you've got a lot of money, that'd be your best option.

2. Displaying an EA ornament after EA trends have emerged in your city will have no special effect; to gain the title, there must be NO trends currently in your city. You only get the title if trends emerge in your city, because of the ornament you've placed in the museum.

3. Trends seem more likely to emerge based on what ornaments other players of your nation are displaying. If French players are mostly using North Africa trend ornaments, then it's more likely you'll see North Africa trends emerge, than you would Oceania, or EA.

4. The star value of an ornament/discovery has some influence. 5-star ornaments have appeared to be more likely to trigger a trend emerging than a 1-star. Not always, it must be noted, but most of the time that has been the case.

That said, it's pretty random. I've been trying for a year to get Trendsetter with no success, and a friend I invited to the game got it on their second month of playing. (With a 5-star ornament I gave them, incidentally.) In theory, you could always try putting an ornament in a small gallery, wait 24 hours, take it town, put it up again, and rinse-and-repeat until you get a trend. I've never tried this myself, but it could possibly work.

About the Q Title, this is the quest B! meant: Quipucamayoc There are three chains (adventurer, trader, maritimer) that all lead to the same final title-giving quest. Pick whichever one you like (and are best qualified for), then see it through to the end -- the title should be yours soon after you finish the quest. Also, check the comments under that quest, there's a little extra info there that should help you.

For that title, you need Adventure Lv80 + Adventure fame 360,000 or more + 2000 or more discoveries. Discovery accuracy, as I understand it, means your Search/Recognition/E. Research will be successful more often, possibly even on the very first try, despite how difficult the discovery quest might be.

There is also similar title for battle lvl 80, fame 360k - but i don't have it yet. I've read that it reduces damage from critical shots.

Theres also one for traders as well. In addition to having reached lvl 80 and having 360k of fame, you also need to have at least 800 mill in your back account, and have at least 40k of contribution points in all four EA nations. The effect from the title is "The Fukkake upper limit of 30%", whatever that's supposed to mean.

LOL @BlakeC. I'm guessing the Fukkake limit is the % improvement you can achieve with your haggling before "the price can't be compromised any more". I never did the maths but 20% without the title feels about right. The title would up that to 30%.

Alright, the gladiator title - no, I'm not going to ask how to get it as I already have it. But I was under the impression that in addition to enabling these two swords shown above, it also increased the number of roman coins you receive while wearing it. Is there any truth in that? After trying it a few times, I sort of doubt it.

I've never heard of anything boosting Roman Coin acquisition apart from the Oxford skill, and some Astro consumable item whose name escapes me at the moment. Sounds like a bit of an urban legend to me, though if anyone has proof to the contrary, I hope they'll be kind enough to share it.

no, neither Honorable thief's Bow nor Sword of Lioness are recorded, but as I said there is no bug- since you cannot complete the collection, due to that Nabuco-related item, it won't be shown until that content is added.

I got a new title after completing the two Astronomy memorial album. The title is Stargazer. The description is, "Title given to person with deep understanding is Astronomy and have discovered all twelve zodiacal constellations".

New title!

Master of Ancient Technologies
A title reserved for those who have greatly contributed to the nation's Ancient Technology Research. Can use the Solar Barge as many times as one likes.


If equipped, the Solar Barge to Atlantis button will show up the next time you enter the docks of your home nation. It showed up for me after two 600 page AT research reports, but it might be unlocked sooner than that. I'd guess it only works until Monday? The title may have to be unlocked again each week, or may not... we'll see!

I just checked and I also had the title. I only submitted one "incomplete" research once at something like 130/100/40 pages. I guess if you submit it once you get the title.

This Master of Ancient Technologies title appears to be tied to your nation's research progress (can be checked with the palace secretary or if you have ancient research ongoing it's shown there on the quest page). So it's more of a national perk rather than an individual perk, or perhaps a combination.

I reported two incomplete researches and a 600/600 one so far. I think I got the title when my nation reached like 22k/50k points or thereabouts and I think I hadn't reported the 600/600 research yet. I suppose you need to have done some research of your own, but the dominating factor seems to be your nation's performance.

Also, if you are online when your nation reaches enough points for you to get the title, you'll get a red text message about it.

Just a reminder: Monday (10am OGP time I believe) is when Atlantis moves. Word has it that not only will your nation's ancient tech/solar barge gauge be reduced, but you'll also lose the MOAT title for a bit, likely until you can rebuild the barge, visit Atlantis, and perform research again.

I actually had the title without having done a single quest for ancient technology research. All I did was discover Atlantis, so it seems to me that your nation's development level is what makes it appear after that requirement's fulfilled. Atlantis moved as expected and the title is gone now, though. I wonder where it's ended up this time?

I got it after trying the Atlantis Labyrinth, i was at floor 11 when i died dont know if recieved this prior, in another floor.

I got the same title from the Labyrinth, but after clearing floor 10 or 11 (can't recall which). According to J-Wiki, you obtain it after "Raburinthos over 11 sections"... possibly you can get the same title from Poseidon's Temple dungeon under slightly different circumstances? Hmm. Either way, it's a life saving title in the Endless Dungeons, as you cannot use stamina restoring items in those two places.

I think it's just 10 floors of either Endless Dungeon. Somebody I helped recently didn't have the Deepseeker title when we started out, and on the beginning of floor B11, they reported having it available.

To get the Stargazer title, you need to discover all 12 of the Zodiac constellations like Taurus, Libra, etc. The quests are not listed here, but a couple of Japanese guides has them:

A fair amount of them have pre-quests as you need to do, and have certain Chrono titles to discover constellations and stars out in the open as well. I know one of them needs the 14th century title which you can only get through discovering Xanadu, which involves an extremely long series of quests to unlock.

Actually, there are a few quests that give out the 14th century chrono title outside of the Xanadu chain. "A State of Prayer and Meditation" out of Tunis is a 2 star quest that gives 14th century title. It has a few prereqs: Discovering the city of Salonika, dicovering the city of Ragusa, and completing "Roof and Spine", a 2 star geography quest from Istanbul. MUCH easier than that pesky 64 quest Xanadu chain :D

There's also "Investigate the Palace of Menelaus", 3 star Theo quest from Alexandria. Its prereqs are "Story of the Trojan War", 2 star Appraisal quest from Seville and the geography discovery "Pelopponese" from a geography map in from the Lima Scholar.

With a bit of testing, I can confirm that the Deepseeker title is unlocked when you not only reach the 10th floor of an Endless Dungeon (Labyrinth on Crete, Temple of Poseidon in Atlantis), but when you have cleared that floor as well. In other words, the enemies must be gone (fight them or trap-torch them), and the exit to the next floor opens. The title becomes selectable at that point, and no sooner.

Master Breeder title, seems to need r15 pet training, pets acquire items more frequently, and equipment have higher chance of being a collector's item.

Some, such as Seeker of the Unknown and the Mayor set, give you the ability to set customizable personal titles consisting of two words. It's a purely cosmetic effect that can be very fun depending on how you mix and match them.

As for the ones still showing up in Japanese, I believe those are related to Order of the Prince's 3rd and final chapter update when national piracy gets a revamp system. Could be wrong. I leave the rest of the data details to you fine folks. /toast Cheers.
