it's used for a few recipes, but I've gotten r16 sewing without it pretty easily, textile trading and fabric trading are really all you really need for grinding purposes

I don't have dye trading and i can tell you that safflower in beirut isn't the holdup on rib's, it's the parchment. It's such a short port hop to famagusta and you only need 1 per RIB.

Candia, Pondicherry, and Pattani are the only ports that have more than one trade good that are dyes. If I were going to grind this skill I would probably do Candia-Beirut.
