re: advanced alchemy recipes,
do these only appear for Master Alchemist job at (r10)?

so if you get Master job using a boost can you immediately do these advanced recipes whilst your still boosted to r10?

cool im gonna try doing advanced recipes to grind from r6+1+1+3NC as these recipes use n produce stackable items i should be able to 'prep' stock more items (as ill be doing recipes in quarters) and also faster
( i hope )

theres is a sh!tload of prep though...will let you know how this goes

the most useful stuff you can make with alchemy is fools hand 100 def quite hard to make, 100 def boots are made with only handicrafts and they are quite simple to make get leather at oslo and veggie oil at nantes with collection, also you can make furniture kiln and bench both +3 consumables and trade goods respectively, the refined gold armor is kinda worth it too, the helmets are not so good, the silver rapier is decent but its way too hard to make and of course headache meds but they are a low chance recipe so meh, besides that there is not much to do since most of the alchemy experiments and recipes are kinda worthless sure there are some +1 or +2 items but at that point in the game when you have the skill to make them they are kinda useless because you will have your trade skills and collection probably mxed because of all the grinding that is needed for high rank alchemy

Advance alchemy is not like a recipe book
The exp can fail, but if fails you dont lost the ores or logwood, only the crucible of the colored tube test.

Ex: I did the experiment of blue ores that makes emeralds and jades with yellow tube test:

Num exp:32
Num exp succesful: 12 -> 37.5%
Num exp appear emeralds:3
Num exp appear jades:4
Num exp appear suspicious lump:5

So,you better have a lot of stuff before try to atart.
The experiment stuff is put it at the inventory.

From a suspicious lump, you can get.
x2 Seals. Gnome, salamander, sylph and undine
x6 Steel Cannonball
x7 Catapult.

From 18 suspicious lumps.
Seals. 12 -> 24 seals
Steel Cannonball. 1 -> 6
Catapult 5 -> 35

Anyone who says Alchemy can't make money or is too hard is a total noob.

Alchemy allows you to make many different and rare items. It also allows you to find and use most items whether searching, company shops, bazaars, questing, private farm and use it in some sort of Alchemy recipe to make and sell something useful

100 Def Gloves are NOT the only way to make money and if you saturate the market with it you will lose money and mess up market for other alchemists.

Headache meds, gold tarot, silver armor helm, gold short sword all make great money not mention ointments and seals themselves. Get Alchemy it's fun and useful even at low ranks

Hey i wanna ask something about alchemy , i know most of alchemy recipe are on npc and it's required a lot of different skill , well almost all crafting skill , my question is :

is it necessary to have the skill or you can leech it from fleet mate all the way ? example let say the recipe need alchemy r11 and handi r13 can i like have no skill at all in handi and leech it from my fleetmate ?

If is listed as first skill, then must be yours, you can only leech 2nd and 3rd skills.
ex. To craft Alchemy staff from Craftsman's Training Book you can leech Alchemy but Handi must be yours, but those recipes up there on this page, you can leech all but Alchemy
