The outskirts of Famagusta is a really good place to level this skill early on. There is only grass and berries offered there. Bring Traveller's Food Procuring book and you can also quickly level Storage skill at the same time.

this is only useful for collecting water when it rains at sea
everything else can be produced at farm

at farm you fill up in a week or two, with procurement you can fill up in an hour or two

This skill will work even during severe storms at sea, unlike fishing. It also can be used to gather water during snowing and blizzard conditions up in the Baltic Sea, and which will probably occur in the Arctic Seas when we get to Gran Atlas, too.

Found this at The Rocky Mountains (inland from Tacoma Outskirts) with R15 Search at a Pointed Boulder landmark near the entrance. It's likely they can be dug up with less Search, though, and may also be located at other landmarks. Probably easier to get compared to the Adventurer's shoes by comparison, though nowhere near as stylish.
