Courtesy of BOP: This title is unlocked by getting the Pet Training skill to R15 base and can be equipped at that time (like the R15 production skill titles). The benefits are:

Equipment items may have GS stat increases (higher dura on a Tortoiseshell Charm, for example)
All items (equipment AND consumables) are gained at a rate of x6 every time your pet finds something.

As with the R15 production titles, this title's effect becomes inactive if you change to a job which does not favor Pet Training skill. If you plan to go after this title and r15 skill, good luck -- it will involve a LOT of sailing at sea. Cheers, and thanks again, BOP.
