Does the trading skill affect how many you will get through the Nanban exchange or is it just based on buying the goods outside of EA FOR EA?

Japanese wiki says 2% per level (possibly up to max 20%--it's hard to tell from the google translate.) Nevertheless, GT japanese wiki is far more reliable than the jokers at netmarble.

Actually the best place to rank this up is port hopping between Genoa and Pisa. They sell 3 and 2 types of Fabric respectively, and their very close to each other.
