Imperial Quest 10star from Santiago 10xTLG i think, just east of Portobello 'Commodities Fleet' i think. best to do it when carib is in 'safe' status

you get good dura ship, with high base armour, no cannon , no extra armour , no fancy-azz sails -as these get shot to shit, carry tons of lumber for repair, fire buckets or ff skill, lotsa fat/vig food for you and crew- idea is to sail to the very edge of the circle 'park' length ways on the edge have evasion ,fire shot defence etc on and sit there to be shot at rpairing surgery etc as long as you can then return port fix yer ship then repeat =) have fun oh and try to be in job with expert evasion use boosts and maybe 'UWO day' 16-17 june-is 2x event that would help you do it fast.

In addition to Hans comments, it will be very important to get an aide with "flameshot defence" skill (notably Chester does that).

Also another useful hint regarding to save MCT, is to get a junk lvl 52 Vaisseau, and bring down its max dura to 50%. Max dura can't drop below 50%, thus you won't give a shiit to crit hit.

With flameshot defence turned on, those ships do only 100-200 damage to you on average crit (or much less if distance is far).

Once you are in ideal position (aligned right next to edge), turn off flameshot defence except in time of urgency (can't repair due to eating food, rescuing). The prof. u got from evasion is somehow related to the damage u avoided, and flameshot defence slices away some total damage before you could evade...

i tended to have fire fighting (ff) skill and use this IQ to grind that also , George can help - if your not a full-on maritimer, but as Chester says it does affect proficiency gained for evasion

no actually, TLG have more power than the galleys in mysterious hole, since they don't even have cannons skills, just low accuracy.

I ranked my evasion and repair with those guys, and is very fast.

after a few hours of doing this and trying different things i found that it was best for me to have 3 plates equipped, cheap sails, cheap cannon, dragon figurehead, and 2nd evasion college skill equipped. For some reason more ship parts made the plates last longer. one aide on storage keeper + repair for completion of a thesis paper/ 10 mins. Fired cannons using f1-f4 keys and built and sold a ship each time i ported in, all in shipwright job.

I cannot find that info on chinese/japanese wiki where did u see it? And by "per cannon" did you mean let's say 5x16=80 cannons each -4 so -320 damage?

okay but cannoneer job doesn't favor evasion. now somebody else state that r15 is base and list w/e to show you can reach 20. Then somebody else state one more time that cannoneer doesn't favor evasion.

cannoner job does not favored evasion period, when in job its capped at r10, so unless you get +10 evasion with items you cant max it out

How does this skill level.is it by the amount of damage you take, or will it level just for getting shot at no matter the amount of damage. Will taking 1 damage from a hooker level the skill the same as taking 80 damage from a battle gallon? (Per shot)?

this skill rank up according the damage you avoid cause of using evansion. so you shoudl prefer fleets that hit hard to rank it up and dont use platings. boost for + evansion will help rank it up faster, cause you avoid more damage as the skill is higher..

A new pair of +1 Evasion boots can be obtained from the Upper Euphrates landing point via Search skill, at the Table Boulder landmark just east of the entry point. It is:
