If you want a good trait on look out job, put him on navigator job.
I got him at 67 traits on my second try. 1st time i hired him i put on look out and got 29 traits...

i put jafar lookout job until lvl 10 after that i changed to navigator. as soon he reached lvl 12 he got 72 lookout traits with the navigator job

Oh, I never put him to lookout a single day and he got 80+ lookout trait when it opened.
So, put him on irrelevant job if you want a high trait LOL

Aide traits generate randomly when you hire them. You could hire/fire/rehire Jafar three times in a row, and find his stats are entirely different each time, without ever changing his job once.
