if your fleeted with a player who meets the requirements and they pull the quest then you can join his fleet, take same quest, help him and gain this job card...

otherwise yes you need to meet the requirements in full for the quest to appear

I too got this quest with 0 QMP @ 20k maritime fame. Didn't even have r4 evasion (had 3+1 using an item boost).

IMO, its good for counter galleys, if you use a combo of Ball+Pen+HeavyBombing u can slow them down a lot, but in the counterpart, it doesnt have accuracy favoured.

It aslo could be good since it has steering+evasion so a DSD or NSD could lower a lot their cannon damage.

But just my 2 cents, dont fire upon me if i'm wrong, as stated in the beggining, my own opinion, others may not be d'accord. Cheers

@Sonia The only job that actually does favor Ballistics, Gunnery, Accuracy and Penetration is Cannoneer which requires Ballistics r5 and Accuracy r8. It's quite hard to able to grind these skills together. Have to grind them independent from eachother.

It very much feels like requirements for rare/job quests have been relaxed lately. I remember being unable not only to pull this Golden Stag quest, but even to take it from the fleet admiral if not in bodyguard job. I had similar experience with musketeer job quest a couple of months ago as I wrote here: Summons from musketeers.

odd that you say tha cristina, I was with alt & main toon was on baduguard & alt wasnt,I got the quest alt didnt, she wasnt able to get the quest till she switch jobs to bodyguard..

Hn. Further research seems to suggest that Bodyguard is mandatory, after all:

This job features a notice in red text, "Bouncer limited". Bouncer likely means Bodyguard, and limited seems to indicate "that job is required for the quest". Several other red-text notices refer to job class changing restrictions, such as Filibuster's requirements... so it is as reasonable a theory as any.

I suspect that recent reports mean you don't actually need the skill requirements to make this quest appear; only to be in Bodyguard job.

Confirmed you cannot pull, or even leech the quest if you haven't changed your job to bodyguard
