I got this chaplet Chaplet, with +1 luxury trading and +1 seasoning trading. I have invested enough to get the treasure box, but I never received the title (Minister of History). Does anyone know what I did wrong?

Strange. Did you receive the hat as well? No special messages when you go to the docks about meeting an important NPC (usually Alias) before such and such a date? The chart that I'm looking at suggests you ought to have gotten the title for sure, if you've gotten this treasure box.

To be a bit more precise, this treasure box item is awarded during Merchant-related Historical Events, of which there are three different types.

Historical Epic Investment Battle: Requires 500M total investment during the Historical EIB period.

Trade Good Delivery: Purchase a specific type of trade good from a target region, and then haul it to the destination region, where you must then sell it in one of the region's ports for a profit. Takes about 50 trips; may be fewer if you run the quest with fleetmates.

Holy Roman Emperor Election: ... no idea, because I'm too stingy to try and participate in this kind of event, and my usual Japanese data sources are silent. I'm sure others will be kind enough to post their own findings. Thanks in advance, and I hope your box rewards are favorable. Cheers.

I'd be willing to bet at long odds that GAMA server players won't be able to get either storage expansion item, Master's secret nor any of the panels except maybe Holy Roman Imperial. The same thing happened with the Treasure Box of Courage for completing the land battle Historical Event called The Battle of Nekmir. According to the Japanese Wiki, that treasure box was supposed to have both types of Nocturnal and Noble panel, Holy Roman Imperial panel, Dock and Consumeables expansion and Cannonsmith's Forging Tools as possible drops, yet all of those except the Holy Roman Imperial were nerfed on GAMA. So, once again, GAMA players will get the short end of the stick when it comes to event rewards.
