Yes, you can. The normal cost at Seville is 5-6m But if you're a crafter, it is better to do it yourself.

if you are a crafter and plan to make a bunch and sell, then it is better to craft it yourself. Otherwise is not worth to spend a day to make it.
you need to get a teak plating. There are 2 ways to get it: (1) buy from ports in red sea/india. (2) get a recipe from aden, then use lumbers+irons to make it.
then turn the teak plating to Hardened teak plating with coal (recipe from Bergen).
Then get Antifouling paint (even harder to make - gonna spend you another day, or 2-3m from company/bazaar). Then proceed the final step at 1 of the cities shown above..
You can easily earn 5m 10m in 30 mins from noob dungeons.

for 5-6 million, i'll buy these every time. I appreciate very much the people who take the time to make these in bulk, because it is a monumental waste of a day to try to make one for myself when i can make 2 runs in lima to cover the cost of just buying one in seville.

improve with panel ,dismantle then do the full improves
dismantle removes everything (except panel) and resets all refits so any increase /decrease in hull etc is reset also

Seems I took a listen to Nicola, made a dozen of these and sold all for 4M within few minutes.
Kinda fun, that supplies, eats and drinks were my only cost. And time, which apparently proves time _is_ money.

Just to confirm what "Erda" asked over a year ago, if I mod a ship with this panel and then dismantle, it will go to 0/X but will keep the Teak Panel, including all the speed advantages of being teak, right?

Jaffa now has enough development for teak panelling to be made again. Make sure you invest 660k first.

Tico, 660k is enough, I just did that and recipe appeared.

Maybe you don't have Handicrafts R12, this may be the reason you don't see the recipe.
