Do i need to empty land and build a new mine when reaching 420 dev.?
Or do the colored ores just show up in existing mines when changing produce?

try change produce to see what options you have.. if you dont see coloured ores then you need to empty land and build again.

Changing produce won't help. If the plot isn't producing a coloured ore (doesn't matter which) now, then it isn't going to. Clear and rebuild.

You can see in the chart above that the plot that produces coloured ores ONLY produces coloured ores.

You need to have unlocked that section of the North-East Passage by charting the other sections for Mercator. Unalaska is indeed available in GAMA.

Yeah. It's worth the effort, having the NE passage available is helpful, and there are some good SWs there.

Once you have access to the Bering Strait, you can reach Unalaska. You could even claim it while out there charting the Bering zone, in fact! Oh, and YoGolan put together a list of the farm's crop yields here as well: www.bit.do/UnalaskaFarm
