is newfoundland the same as Colony Landing Point? I docked at one of them, but then I could not enter the landing area? Did I do something wrong?

Hans

Nope, not the same, try going slightly east of canada and you should be able to see an island, look for a landing point there.

Newfoundland is part of Canada....not "near Canada"....
And the landing point is actually on the north tip of Labrador, where you can currently find Pistolet Bay Provincial Park. Google it.

O Canada

Geiger... you need to do some more research into geography... Newfoundland is the big island.. Labrador is connected to the North America land mass... and the landing spot is on the north tip of Newfoundland.

Quoting sophia above: Inflated prices only help the gold spammers!

now please enlighten us, how exactly you think inflation helps anyone, really?

as a suggestion, try to carefully study the game mechanics involved in this before giving such an inaccurate point of view. thanks.

Yo Lewis, you economist? A little bit of inflation is always good for the economy, but we don't want it to be too high, what we are afraid of is deflation, where prices keep getting lower and lower, Master craftman's carpentary tools are getting cheaper each day with the availability of White Ores...let us do a survey, how many players have 20b out there? 20/20000?

For anyone who has tried both, is Africa South or Newfoundland better for this?

Holfina

Newfoundland, without much doubt. I haven't done a thorough study, but the ore pops about 1/2 in Newfoundland near a landmark.

You can buy these now in Kokkola. Price is 8,370 at 120%. Major downside is you can only buy very few of these at a time. I was only able to purchase 6 of these with R5 Mineral Trading...

Do you need colored ores? An Amsterdam company ACME_Corporation colony in New France is offering Red Ore Blue Ore Green Ore Yellow Ore White Ore in large quantities, make sure to bring a toon with high Mineral Trading and perhaps a Alchemist Robe EX to take maximum advantage of the output. You can register the colony using "Improved_rope" toon that usually bazaars in Seville between the company office and the fountain.

There are 3 stone points in Newfoundland north coast landing point and, by my experiments, those are the % of white ore collection in each of then (r11 collection + oxford skills)

Diagonal boulder (North) - 9,93%
Large Boulder (Center) - 24,36%
Stacked Boulders (South) - 26,48%

Also, % of cramberries are more or less half of white ore in each of then.
