19 more vertical and 26 more horizontal sails than the Long Schooner plus the ability to mod a lot (7/7?... 8/8?) for full sails, excellent turn and wave resistance. Not sure if this will be faster than the Festive Large Clipper but it'll be in the top 2 fastest ships in the game.

Any test to see which ship is faster would have to include going from point A to point B and then back to point A. Then you'd get both head and tailwinds for an overall balance to see which ship is faster. My LMS has always been faster than my BTC overall... but not by much.

Trade is dead, spice runs or jewell trading gives no profit (around 1,800 spice cargo gives around 30M if each spice is sold at 120% Europe price). Netmarble is killing the game with their own businesess, NM is encouragin piracy by selling NC ships also letting players make quick cash by doing dungeons and making Nanban trade a shit for GAMA server.

Because by that logic, Mod Frigates 7/7 with its ssips and dismantling alone will cost over 1b easily, should then have their ticket prices at 0 ducats? cornelia what rubbish is that? how many MF 7/7s are there that isn't nation paneled? it is common practice to dismantle a ship after u panel it especially for mari ships. The point the earlier poster said is that u don't price ticket by just taking away the cost of modding the 8/8 ship. it's like that for every ship on sale out there, MFCV ticket 3-4b, full modded 5-6b. there is no such thing where because a 8/8 ship sell at Xb then the ticket is Xb - cost of mods. and MLS is not in the TBs right now, u won't find ticket sellers easily. U bet those ones have a ticket to sell? try shouting for MLS ticket in seville for a day and see how many is on sale, especially at 2-3B.

I've being offered 4bil for CLC ticket, which is much inferior to this ship and does same job. If someone gets fooled by selling this ship for 2bil, cant complain that wasnt warned. Truth is that there is great shortage of top nc adventurer/speed ships in our server.

Prices are high, players have ducats and make billions quickly. Its possible to get 1bil in a day. Few players invest, so ducats are being accumulated and only changing hands, yet the ships stay.

Dont be shy and in rush to sell... People here are saying we are trying to "inflate prices". Thats a lie. Its one reseller here that is trying to "deflate" the price to fool players to buy from them for cheap to resell for more later. Thats why those resellers bother shouting daily at Seville nonstop.

Sell your ships to honest players for the fair price, you will get your ducats, and an honest player will have a good ship, everyone profits.

This is true and since URB mainly sells high end ships its even easier for Netmarble to see. Netmarble is cracking down heavily against URB. Netmarble does server messages stating that UWO RESERVE BANK IS A SCAM. Of course they are using all their available assets to bring this "business" down. How many MLA, HSFCVs, FIS, 130 attack excaliburs you really think are on the server making it even easier to monitor them. URB also lists the levels of the accounts they have for sale also making this easy for NM to monitor and catch you.
I really don't care if you don't believe this or not. Just giving warnings. Luckily I was aware enough not to click confirm.. When I bring this to the toons attention he apologizes and says "im sorry we still modding it, and it wont be ready for a few more hours". URB then says " leave me your UWO login info and I will update the ship to your account" Immediatley sensing something wrong I contacted my Credit Card provider and explained to them the sitation, ultimaley disputed and terminated the transaction.. I too had a similar problem buying from UWO Reserve Bank. I am a "newb" to UWO. I really adore the game but don't have the time to commit due to real life obligations. To make my gaming expirence better I decided to purchase an AFCV and 130 attack Excalibur from UWOReservebank.com. I wasn't aware or told about any "pay first promotions" either. After paying over $500 usd it was time to collect. I met with the URB representative. I was offered a basic First Class Vasseiu named "Ambush First Class Vassieu" as well as just an ordinary Excalibur with 130 DURA instead of attack. I then asked the URB rep what the problem was. He said "oops clicked wrong sword, and the ship is being modded still" He then said " just leave me your UWO login and I will deliver the ship and sword as one". Being an attorney in America I immediately realized this was fraud. I then contacted my credit card company and demanded a dispute of charge. I was awarded my money back. I highly advise everyone not to do business with UWO RESERVE BANK as it is a SCAM and maybe facing further criminal charges due to these actions!

For example min cargo MLS with max crew/max guns from refit is the same total hold as min crew/min guns, so would refitting make a difference? Is it total hold, or cargo that affects speed? I personally always thought it was total hold (crew+guns+cargo) which is unaffected by a refit.

total hold affects max speed. Reffiting crew and guns afterwards dont affect speed. Minimun reffit crew is still higher than the minimun needed for full speed (except adding a lot of - crew parts), but any extra crew adds nothing.
Only more margin if crew is lost from storms (high WR ships with half sails almost never lose crew), scurvy or plague (most of the times there is time for using pathology, items, or aide)
But, for disasters, more max crew, easier to lost sailors. Making adv ships with max crew and guns is only for piracy purposes.

I looked at Lisa's MLS plan 53086, and it seems really good to me. My plan (55581) gets more armor for better acceleration, but is bigger due to not being penalized for making it outside the effective range. The difference between minimum hull and minimum effective is 33. So, is 33 significant enough to penalize the ship, or would I rather have 8 more armor for the acceleration? Or is it just preferance, where port-hoppers may prefer acceleration to top speed?
