Improved Wave Resistance: +1 to +3

What number will prevent broad side waves from knocking you off course? Or does wave resistance not help with that?

Useless item since the price is higher than 4m It will sell for 2.5m / 3m Max ...
General anti rolling tank is out now since the port development is 70k
So dont get fooled by a player who sell this item above 5m its just simply overpriced :)
General anti rolling tank can purchased on Craftshop of every major city , when dev is 70k

General Anti-roll tanks are for heavy class ships only. You will still need to use these and admiral cabins for light and standard class ships.

What does WR exactly do? Some says that it increases pick up speed (accelaration) others says that it increase ships speed (speed up) as seen is the "ship" tab. I know that having WR 11 make your ship able to sail in storms/blizzards.

from what i know, it increases your ship top end speed while sailing but not acceleration, again this is from what i know. :)

Question: I want to put 2 of the same part to increase minimal improvement limit even if I get failure but how the game calculates the results?
The game calculate both FS parts separately even if both increases the same stat or does the game calculate both separately as individual parts?
I mean, do I get failure-success-great success for each part as indivual fs parts?
Example 1 / case 1 (as individual FS parts succes)
Improvement material slots:
FS Part one: +1 ~ +3 WR, you get succes (+2WR)
FS Part two: +1 ~ +3 WR, you get great succes (+3WR)
Improvement limits:
+2 ~ +6 WR
Possible results:
+2 WR, +3 WR, + 4 WR, +5 WR + 6 WR
You get (in this case)
+5 WR
or do I get same failure-succes-great success for both parts at same time?
Example 2 / case 2 (as one FS part succes)
FS Part one: +1 ~ +3 WR
FS Part two: +1 ~ +3 WR
Improvement limits:
+2 ~ +6 WR
Possible results:
+2 WR, +4 WR, +6 WR
You get (in this case)
Failure: +2 WR

Is there a fix number where once reached your ship is immune to high waves and to prevent sprung leaks? I mean, if a ship becomes stromproof at 12 WR, is there a WR amount needed to prevent high weaves? Dang, having a galley type ship with low WR is a living hell, sudden high waves and leaks damage ships parts very often.
Edgedemon07-14-2016
@Trollo
as far as i know you never get sudden leaks on any storm proof ship.
the "sudden wave throws you off course" event, happensrarely to my WR 15 BTC but ive havent had it on my WR 17 Tea Clipper, i heard it stops appearing at WR 16 but havent had the Tea Clipper for long so i cant affirm it
BIakeC07-14-2016
It's based on the waves in the waters your sailing in (if you dont know how to check that, it's the wave icon in the lower right corner of the screen). If you have a WR equal to, or above that number, you should good against high waves. Galleys are usually meant to be sailed along coasts and inland seas, and not out on the high seas, hence their low WR count.
Getting an aide with
Breakwater helps curtail this as well.
DPiano07-14-2016
Maybe its a WR 9+, I don't know for sure, why I say this? Well in my case, my former Trading clipper was stormproof (WR 14) and I sailed seas with Waves 20, my ships was 6 points below and it never was stoped, slowed or damaged by high waves, broadside waves or sudden leaks.
BIakeC07-14-2016
Hmm, well my Cruise High Clipper has a WR of 22 and I still get broadside waves when im sailing around the southern tip South America where the waves there can go up to 30...
H.-Gazi07-14-2016
What BlakeC said is correct about the WR.
You're immune to any broadside and high waves disaster when it is equal to the sea waves or higher.
Important thing to note is that broadside disaster happens regardless the direction you sail and high waves ONLY if you sail closer than 90˚ against the waves. The disaster of high waves (leaking) drops the durability of your figurehead and special equipment so be careful not to sail either with low dura of them.
DPiano than you had probably lucky or you had an aide with WR prevention or a shipskill to counter that.
DPiano07-15-2016
@H.-Gazi
Well maybe I'm a lucky guy after all :D because I didn't use aide skill or a ship skill, that clipper only had EA.
I remember my circumliner quest, I sailed with a tiny Transport Galleon (WR8) and it was never affected by waves.

Thank you every body, I really apreciate your help and coments.
I own a G2 turkish galley 6/7, with RA, preemtive attack, bullet-proof armouring (optional skill), max sails, turn 19, WR 9, RP 99, max armour, 227 crew; with the last improvement it will reach max dura (it just need 20 more points, a I. Rope will fix that) and what do I should add for the second and last FS part? What should I increase? I have big trouble with wave dissasters, happening very often, leaking and damaging ship parts but I have a battle aide that have breakwater skill to prevent that but it benefits me more if i have it on another duty like surgeon or leutanant, I'm sick of changing aide duties because I do it very often: to prevent wave outside battle and to gain battle bonus with surgeon and lieutanan dities.

Buy yourself a Large Storm Sail for your next improve with the trav rope and I rope. That should get your boat storm proof.
LSS go for around 350-400mill.
Or.. Decide if you are going to G3 which will let you add another ship buff through the process
