With a base turn mode of 5 and 6 mast that is going to be one poor handling ship. Assuming that it it has 6 slots for extra sails the 6 -1 Full-rigged sets would yield a turn mode of -1. To get a respectable +4 would require at least two painter ropes

This Ship should have EA + Improved Rudder

Even with improved rudder and EA it is still does not have a good turn mode. A

150M are only the improvement tickets that you must spend to go to 5/5
                I guess it's more like 400-500M for 5/5

You shouldn't be using this or the LMS for trade, 99% of the time I never carry cargo besides food/water/timber (shipwrecks). My LMS tops in at 13-14 knots with 110/110 +7T +7WR in 'normal waters' and have clocked as much as 17 knots in the pacific with the bonuses. The top speed isn't as high as some clippers, you really make up for it with the 11-13+ knots you can do in headwinds depending on the zone bonus. I've loaded my LMS down with Saori from time to time to fund my shipwrecks, it's about a 60 day trip from Sakai to Seville across the Pacific fully loaded (at min effective cargo carrying 1250 Saori using survival-no food/water). If you want to adventure grind to 65 trade, grab the LMS set it up for speed cheap. Once you hit 65 adventure you'll be ready for this beast, use your Storm Sails you've collected from all your shipwrecks get the WR up to 25+ and watch flames shoot off the water when you sail.

If you can afford it, the CLS is a cheap version of the MLS and costs about 3b for a ticket. It's pretty much decent, you can max the WR and turn and once 2nd age hits with the ability to do ship upgrades (not improves, you get to put additional abilities on the ship based on its rank upgrade) you can opt for acceleration upgrades, that will nullify the current advantage of the MLS having more improves for armor accel. at 1/4 the price of an MLS (I still can't understand why ANYONE would pay more than 10b for a ship that is only marginally faster than an FLC/CLC and the same speed as the Non-NC version assuming you sail at top speed with no cargo)

people say that more armour make ships accelarate faster , if i add more armour to this will i accelarate faster out of port?

                Xiao Wei
                10-18-2013
More armour accelerates faster during battle not while sailing/leaving ports. Lower the cargo to min to accelerate faster leaving ports.

ty , i asked that because i've seen some vaisseaus accelerate like hell ,i contrast to other lighter ships

                10-18-2013
armor affects acceleration leaving port too, perfect for near porting, but after the first push, your max speed will lower when you use platings comparing unnarmored ship

how do you turn this into a refitted long schooner? or is that a completely different ship?

                09-12-2019
Cool as it would be to upgrade/transform existing ships, I'm afraid RLS is a UWC/cash-only ship.
