I think r18 is the highest you can get to. Base 13 plus expert plus tam plus this item plus wizard staff plus aide.

well actually you can't use this item plus tam, they require different titles, but there is another plus one alchemy body gear out there, just not on GAMA yet.

R17's the highest you can get, at least at the present. 13 plus title clothes, magic staff, aide, and expert boost.

Correct me if I'm wrong, having adept title means you have r13 base for Alchemy, so how come you still don't have the clothes when you have the adept title?

ive never noticed any diff between making stuff with higher skill and at minimum skill for a specific production.

so unless we get new recipes it doesnt seem +1 will help you if youre at max rank :/

Why don't you make this costume and the hat by your self, it not hard to make the red potion and the alchemist's cloth and hat. Unless you want to show off that you're rich buying for 100M and show off you're max the alchemist skill

It's not hard to make the Ignis solution and the Alchemist clothes, but the success rate for this recipe is really low. I used over a hundred alchemist clothes trying to make the robe while ranking alchemy, but didn't succeed until after I had the adept title.

The robe is useless though; seems like you should make it yourself since it's really just a trophy.

there 4 skills will help you to get the succes, it is Increase Production Success Rate I, II, III AND IV.. use this skill, + the title + aide paymaster, the chance to get this cloth better than before

I've seen them for 50m quite frequently. It is a bit annoying to make, but only a R13 base alchemist can wear it. If you can wear it, you can make it, which makes these 600m price tags ridiculous.

You don't need the title to make this, only to wear it although the title does help boost success in experiments to make this. Remember it has a very low probability of getting a success to make this, so it just sounds like your very unlucky.

BlakeC is right about that, I had an friend who did more than 150 attempts to get this robe. I estimate the average probability to get this is around 1/50, so there can be an huge deviation of it :/

I hope you get it soon enough :( This is along with Adept's Biretta the hardest to get for Experiment Memorial Album.

Used as a base item to create Alchemist Robe along with the Alchemy/Sewing R12 recipe that uses Gold x30 + Strange Powder x1 + Gaseous Drug x5.

Caution: a second R15 recipe exists that uses this equipment but the end result will NOT be the Alchemist Robe. Many have made this mistake; be careful it doesn't happen to you as well unless you're after the Genius' Robe item.
