A key ingredient for Transmutation Alchemy recipes, typically the coveted EX effect gear folks clamor for. Obtained via:

1. Collecting and using Mysterious Gold (details on page)
2. Loot from the Boss room treasure boxes in the Temple of Poseidon endless dungeon (located in Acropolis of Atlantis which is not always in-game beginning August 1st)
3. A x1 random drop from the Vanishing Continent Treasure Chest (details on page)
4. A random reward from Ancient Technology Research boxes (performed only when Atlantis is in-game; the amount depends on your total points per research endeavor)

And maybe some other things not commonly occurring. Cash shop goodie boxes, or the like. Feel free to add any extra info/correct my errors if any are present. Cheers.

Boss room in temple of Poseidon needs unlock R12 to open the chest

Really? I never had any trouble opening the chest after clearing the boss floor with R10 or less unlock.

This item is used in certain Transmutation Alchemy recipes. It can be used to craft these as well: Elixir

Can be obtained from Odyssey Chest, although the rarity is questionable, but i got it after doing several further quests.

5x Special Purchase Bonds are actually needed to craft Orichalcum from Myserious Gold which was a terrible decision from KOEI. I hope this recipe would be reverted to recipe above where SPBs aren't needed.

I inquired via support ticket whether this recipe could be changed back to its original state as opposed to the one which requires SPBs. Sadly, the response I received was:

"Unfortunately we cannot change the recipe. However, we will make sure that the Maris server will have enough amount of Special Purchase Bonds so that users can access them more easily in the future."

A regrettable outcome but it was worth a try. Perhaps mysterious gold being so easy to obtain would have been an issue? Well, I'm still glad many other requests have been granted in recent months and years, at least. Cheers all; great online voyaging to you all.
