Your BTCs are getting 4/4 which means they will never be the ship you think they are. Unless you're using Delphi. Tea clip starts with higher turn and WR, less studding sails to strip your turn rate and the ability to have a higher WR as well, which equals speed. The BTC is a huge turd that's basically a TLG with an outboard motor on the back. If you want speed go with the LMS or Tea Clipper, if you care about 'omgwtf' cargo space, keep your Brontisoarus Trade Clipper.

Yes it does have slightly less cargo space, but when it comes to speed it beats the BTC out of the water. It accelerates much faster, has more turning speed and wave resistance, and overall sails better in any kind of winds.
