It was you who found the statue of a spirit, wasn't it? The market keeper of run has asked to see the sailor who found that statue of a spirit. I'm sorry, but would you please go see him in Run?

1. A visit from certain girl
Excellent, thanks you for coming. I have a request for you. Do you remember what I told you back when you helped with search for statue of a spirit? About saving a girl close to Sepik river on New Guinea island? The other day she came to see me, along with some men from her village...

2. Some help needed
I'd like to say your involvement was completed when you found the statue of a spirit, but I can't handle this new problem either myself, A problem that needs someone with a strong arm, I'm afraid. I don't know if you can even help me, to be honest, but please... at least hear me out

3. Before disaster strike
You see, the girl's village was attacked by bandits and a very important mask was taken from spirit hut. Without it they can't perform the ceremony that brings the protection of the spirits to their village. Before disaster strikes they wanted me to marry the girl and take her away from the village.

4. Recovering stolen treasure
Once we are married they said they were going to perform that ceremony involving cutting of the back, and the girl started crying... so I went and promised that I'd get the mask back for them. But I'm no fighter...!
Please! Get the stolen things back from those bandits.

5. Head to the south coast of New Guinea
The bandits territory is around the south coast of New Guinea. I'll reward you handsomely for your trouble, so please, do this for me. Ah, you can also take one thing from the recovered items for yourself, as the villagers promised me that too. I'll be waiting for good news from you!

6. The stolen treasure are buried under the slanted rock
We're sorry! You win! Please, just let us live... Huh? The things we stole? We buried them at the base of a tilted rock. Each one of them is a beautiful, gorgeously crafted piece that would fetch a fine price alone, let along all together! That's should be enough to let us go, right?

7. Buried elementals
The items stolen by the bandits are buried under a tilted rock on the south coast of New Guinea. Each one of them is supposedly a beautiful, gorgeously crafted piece. Go and dig them up, then.

Spirits in New Guinea are said to only be visible by adult males that have completed a ritual. For that reason, they wear masks to show women and children that the spirit has descended.

This battle is tough!

Very difficult, indeed. All NPCs use sword and they poses r4 techs. Gear up properly (boots 100D+ hands 100D should do it- remember, the Q also require rise adv skills!) and bring 3 medicine types+ antidote along (the Head will use blinding powder which won't allow u to attack, so u risk to be sitting duck). Good luck!
PS: Spirit Mask should cost not only 150-200M, but 1B (for the effort)! :D

From my own experience, the best items to equip for this fight are:
Antidote (sold in all European capital city Item Shops)
Secret Medication (sold in Naples and East Asia city Item Shops)
Asclepius' Elixir (dropped by various NPCs and found in most EA dungeons)
With a friend's help, I managed this quest (and neither of us had any 100d equipment). It helped that we both had the
Poison Dart Trap tech at our disposal; once poisoned, the NPCs' health dropped like crazy.
That said, yes, the fight is -very- difficult. At least the quest reward makes it worthwhile.

it is a hard one. I check if I can beat npcs w/o 100d item, with just regular mail, greaves and 40atk sword (I don't have 100d stuff) and solo. Yes u can beat them solo and finish quest. as guilder said u should use 'poison dart trap' also 3 type medicine and antidote. they have low resistance to poison..g'luck
