1. Ziggurat of the king of Ur-Nammu
The similarity with pyramids perhaps refers to the Ziggurats. There ought to be records to show that King Ur Nammu of the 3rd Ur dynasty built it. Proceed to Athens where scholarship flourishes. You may learn something.

2. Pyramid and Ziggurat
Oh that, I heard a bit about that from a scholar in Marseilles. Pyramids are thought to be graves, but Ziggurats are shrines. Shrines are thought to existed atop those. How about researching more at Marseilles?

3. Temple to the moon goddess Ningal
One of the clay tablets mentions that a shrine to the moon goddess Nanna existed atop the Ziggurat. The reason shrines were build in high places was the belief that gods descended there to impart their message. The scholar from Seville must have researched the clay tablets. You must ask him.

4. Information from clay tablets
I have seen that clay tablet. These are just fragments of information and can hardly be considered reliable. It amounts to a town having existed outside of Basra. It may still exist as ruins. It would be best if the study records were still available at the site.... Please ask the town official of Basra.

5. Ruins of an ancient city
There are no records to show a thorough study was conducted.... I have heard that ruins of what may be an ancient town were discovered in the northwest interior of Basra. How about stepping out of the town gates and researching? You may discover something.

6. To the north west of Basra
It's hardly certain if these are ruins of Ur, but there seems to be ruins of an ancient town on the northwest interior of Basra. Let's step outside the town gates and research. We may be able to discover those ruins.

Not worth it... So much effort so little reward... Unless this is beginning of chain quest...
If I didn't discover this place can I join one of those "unlocked" quests that a fleet mate pulls? Like Glory of Ur quest for instance.
nope nina....yer need to do THIS quest in order to pop one of the unlocked quest....
THIS quest will also unlock UR....and none other quest can do dat...
This quest chain doesn't appear to give you anything of any great value, but if you are a discovery junkie none of that matters anyway, it's all about a new discovery card scrolling across the screen.
