                  1. Role of Ur
                  Heading towards the Ur remains? One of the earlier costumers said the same thing. He mentioned that Ur played the role of a transit site of ancient trade. If you say trade, the market keeper may know the best, but i wonder if that applies to ancient trade.

                  2. Trading mid-point
                  I too, am kind of a trader. I know a bit about the ancient trade route. Rare goods from the orient were transported to Egypt via Mesopotamia. There may be old trade goods laying in the remains at Ur.

                  3. 푸른 돌의 파편
                  옛 교역품이라. 도시에 와 있는 고고학자도 그런 것을 말했었지. 뭐더라, 우르의 유적에서 푸른 돌의 파편이 발견되었다든가라고 했었어. 무슨 이름의 돌이었더라. …잊어버렸다. 아직 도시에 있을테니 이야기를 들어보게.

                  4. 청금석의 장식
                  그렇습니다. 이집트까지의 교역의 중계지로서 우르가 번영하고 있던 증거입니다. 메소포타미아에서는 채굴할 수 없는 청금석으로 장식된 모자이크의 파편이 출토되었습니다. 왕묘에 비슷한 부장품이 남아있을 가능성이 있어요. 나도 조사해 볼 생각입니다.

                  5. 우르의 왕묘에
                  우르는 고대의 교역로의 중계지점으로서 번영하고 있던 것 같다. 그 교역품인 청동석을 이용한 장식품의 파편이 우르의 유적에서 출토되었다고 한다. 유적 안쪽의 왕묘에 아직 무엇인가 귀중한 것이 남아있을지도 모른다. 찾아보자.
