                  1. Numerous City-States
                  I would like you to investigate the ruins of a large city-state, one that likely rivals Ur itself. It is said that from ancient times, the verdant and lush area of Mesopotamia hosted numerous city-states. So there must be remnants to find to the northwest of Basra. I'm sure you can find information about them in Basra.

                  2. Remains of a Wall
                  Ruins north of this town? Come to think of it, a caravan of merchants coming from the northwest said they saw something that looked like the remains of a wall on their way here. They weren't really interested in old ruins are stuff like that so they didn't check into it. Maybe that's someplace no one has investigated yet. Why don't you start looking there?

                  3. On the Way to Ur
                  I heard from the Gatekeeper at Basra about a potential site. It might be what my patron is looking for. It was seen deep inland from Northwest Basra along the road to Ur, I shall follow that path and see if I recognize anything along the way.
