                        Gae Bolg was made with one of their bones. Its blade possessed many grooves, which allowed it to deeply wound an enemy. And it could be removed quickly from its victim.

                        Gae Bolg was very light and made an excellent projectile. But because it was such a great weapon...
                        Well, in London Archives, there should be a book detailing the tragedy caused by that spear.

                        Fergus and Cu Chulainn
                        Queen Medb desired the spear and commanded a man named Fergus to capture it.
                        Fergus was Cuchulain's friend, but he obeyed the royal order. His heart was then pierced in battle by Gae Bolg. After he died, Cuchulain grieved for him endlessly.

                        Cu Chulainn fighting Connla
                        Cuchulain's son Connla opposed the king of Ulster.
                        He fought Cuchulain, but, losing, tried to escape.
                        Cuchulain then threw Gae Bolg at him and killed him. Filled with enormous grief, Cuchulain would not let anyone by his side for three days.

                        Magic spear legends of the world
                        Gae Bolg was taken from Cuchulain as he fought Medb. In the end, he was pierced by the spear in the hands of the enemy and incurred the power of the weapon first hand. Gae Bolg was so fearsome that it even brought great harm down upon its master.

                        Curse of devil's spear
                        The Gae Bulg is a spear made from whale bones. Its blade can deal serious wounds to enemies and can be pulled out easily. Due to its light weight it can also be used as a throwing spear. The surroundings were caught in constant battle, and Cuchulainn lost his friend and son, and he himself was stabbed by a Gae Bulg and died.

                            It appears English is a requirement to pull this quest. I used about 20 QMP with no results. Once i used Germanic Translation notes I got the quest on the first try.

                            I doubt English is a true requirement. I have done this quest and have never needed English to pull it. What you seen is that having the language GREATLY improves the odds of pulling a quest making it much easier.
