if you go to the calculator page, you can only improve it twice

the calculator page is wrong, not to mention this page states that it has 0 armour, this ship can go up to 8/8.

mast top now traverse rope my friend waste 2b after buying D sails
to put on this ship but end up with no pre-emptive attack and ask
gm about it... Mast top guys dont be wrong

              06-12-2012
Thanks for info. But I guess your friend won't be at a loss since you'd likely use transverse ropes to improve FLR whether or not it gives you the skill (unless it gave you an alternative skill which makes it impossible to then add pre-emptive attack). And just curious, you said he spent 2b how many D sails did he get?

Btw, read from someone's comment on this site (forgot which page) that festive ships are only available on GAMA if so how does this site know in advance that festive material will eventually be available and specifically know that festive-wood = teak and festive-metal = iron in terms of statistics? Is this site managed by NM's staff?

              Laurencio

Actually, I managed one time with the support of Netmarble a few years ago. I have nothing to do with anymore.

japanese server(pay to play): flat rate
another server(free to play): pay for items such as festive ships.

festive range of ships were available on jap server inline with some flower festival that was ongoing at that time ..

5 is overkill... It's like extra 20 wave resist why would u need that much?

so apart from different skills/parts used for skills
the only real notable difference between this and CLR
is this +2 Turn/Armour & 70 extra dura... and thats it

How is this ship even worse 7 billion, consider it carry almost same stats as car with only minor dura improvement and one extra upgrade. I don't know what people is thinking. Mfcv vs ffcv is so much different conside it's also minor improvement but also a huge cargo reduce and a lot armor improvement and making it close to the real fcv.

              Wen zhi

              Prices are rising madly ^_^

FLR used to be 2b as ticket ..and now it's 3.5b ... For God's sake REMOVE this stupid FSD Dungeon and let the spice runs unleash again ...

              05-15-2013
You are talking about CLR maybe. FLR is 5b ticket

              Holfina
              05-15-2013
yes lets all go back to spice trading, good old days when you needed to multibox just to make 10mil then see how much ships are worth cause I'll bet you a FLR that 5b FLR now will be worth 4.5b if dungeons are removed. Yes dungeons are easy money but its not a dungeon that puts a price on a item its the seller. To reduce the prices people need to stop buying at high price then see how fast the prices get reduced

              Laurencio
              05-15-2013
Its the seller and the supply and demand. Just think panels before cost around 250-300m. Now its 30m. Supply is higher than demand, players have no choice but to sell it cheap, Demand is higher than supply, even me will sell it higher. :-)

Holfina is right, i dont think removing FSD will bring the NC ships prices to millions or even an FLR to 1b. It may go down a bit 4 or even 3b w/o FSD but it will be a lot harder to earn that 3b doing spice runs than earning 5b in FSD.

I'll buy it for 10b if you still have up for sale, if the mods nicely done. or else its just as worthless as a ticket and I won't need it.

yah unless it is built with pure storm and gaff, then that is really pricey. then why not just buy a ticket for 8b and build your own 8/8 perfect build. I doubt it will be costly. you just won't get a 8/8 3 gaff 5 storm flr for ticket price, that's just stupid

5-6b for ticket seems right.. Galley ships are NOT in demand. Turtle ships are in demand to avoid melee. FLRs use to be 8b, now galleys are all over the place. This isn't even the best one by any aspect... At only 234 sailors this is one of the lowest manned galleys and once chapter 2 comes with cannon expansion chamber RHG and RVG will be 5 broadside too and superior than this in melee..

Clearly for maritime ships the priorities for improving/modding is:
              1. Dura
              2. Sails
              3. Armr or turn or wr (depends on the nc ship)
              4. etc

Anyone, knows whats the best skills to add for FLR to achieve this?

              Sophia
              08-27-2013
A FLR ticket is worth 4-5b.. and a FLR which is badly improved is worth -500m less due to dismantling. A well improved FLR 6-7b

Anyone who says that this ship is worth more is a scammer or works for URB making money and driving gamers away from UWO.

Best way to check peoples comments and valuations... go to URB website and see what they valuate each ship and see if it matches theirs !!

I agree with your rant about URB and Savvia/Zac Ren, but you did touch on more important information. NC ships DO have their own serial numbers. Netmarble can track the moves of these ships. Youd be a damn fool to think that UWO Police and NM associates aren't watching these high end ships lately with URB trying to undercut their profits selling these ships. Think about it, how many MLAs, HSFCVs, FIS really on server? Netmarble can easily see who owns these ships and they know who is who.

Im sure UWO Police/NM is watching these 0/11/0 accounts holding 100m+ in NC ships for URB. As soon as you buy one and the toon makes the transaction your caught. URB advertises their characters available for sale too, NM can easily see what toons they are. There are flaws every where for YOU to get caught as URB has their money and doesn't care what happens after...

Pre-emptive attack and either (rowing assist or special seamine) which skill u prefer for the other two should be enough to get a decent or good mod. Unless you want to use a couple of dgaff and dstorm to save some slots for turn and wave resist then it can be a great mod.

Just remember preemptive skill. you need mast top AND traverse rope. See comments above to make sure you get it right :)

Remember when imp a ship. To achieve a high probability of great success:
              1. Don't add +2 imp yet unless u already maxed it out to 6/6
              2. Don't use the same FS parts each time you improve. mix it up
              3. Min and max the cargo everytime you imp. Last imp should be the cargo you want.
              4. Limit the use of FS gunport (imp the slots of cannons)
              5. Of course, fleet with r20 SB

no .3 is actually true for the others not much i have some great success just by change cargo to min and max in Effective range and when the last one i change it to the lowest cargo and its perfect no fail and some great success you should try it ^^

              Sophia
              08-27-2013
for gunport i think its wrong . no.1 i always improve with +2 or +1 improvement and no fail i think its wrong. same fs part ( im still 50/50 about this.) no.3 Xiao Wei explain it already yes i agree no.5 TRUE

              Wen zhi
              08-27-2013
4 is actually true. Using less FS parts will have higher chance of great success. Remember the highger the sb rank needed the less chance of great success so if your gonna use imp gunports use it around the 1st to 3rd imp only.

Also, NC ships already has enough gunports. like flr has 7 already. you only need about 10-15 slots more to use bow and stern so i always wonder y people max it to 40.

              George
              08-27-2013
Number 1: probably true, adding improvement slots increases the level required to sail which i believe increases chance of bad build/decreases chance of great success.

Number 2: If you mean don't use the same ship part twice in the same improve I'm with you on this and I try to make sure my builds are put together in a way that i don't double up on the same part. I have no idea if it's true or not but why chance it?

Number 3: I have had a lot of great successes start happening since I started doing this so I'm not about to stop doing it.

Number 4: Double edged sword, it could take away a great success, it could also soak up a bad result so I go ahead and keep using them until it's maxed, I will not continue using them once it maxes out however. I can however see the logic in only using them until you get 80 gun ports possible.

Number 5: Goes without saying, well worth the cost (doesn't hurt that I am one either)

              Maria

The one time u improve with the same two parts in a row and got two GS doe s not mean it you will always get GS. You got lucky now if you did it 20 times on 20 different boats then i would agree with you maria.

              Sylvia
              08-28-2013
Mei Hua, nobody has ever said that doubling up the same parts always fails. We've said it appears to have a higher chance of failing. One anecdotal account of 2x GS is even more worthless than our combined several anecdotes of increased failure. Neither is proof, but there is some evidence for an increased failure rate.

              Savvia is a Dick
              09-26-2013
I can prove CPC is not she made a forum today on netmarble saying she left the game but she owed 4bil to MilenaReis she then said to her and her company to come claim the money it's not tightrope leave owing that money . If she was URB she would have left without paying her back.

Savvia stop lying even with her gone you still trying to bash her and you still fail you and your fucking URB bank sucks!

              Sakura

URB never scam and always honor a deal. Since CPC paid back, that proves CPC is URB.

There are countless of reports of URB trying to pass off fake ships with real ship names..... All URB ever does is deny and ask for proof... Until now nobody can show evidence without incriminating themselves and URB hides behind that... Finally someone actually posts some screenshots and URB calls it "slander"...

lol URB claim they dont want personal info, however in world chat, shouts, ask for you to join their facebook, so they will have your real name, main email address, paypal details if you are foolish enough to allow yourself to be scammed, your IGN, your password you chose for URB website which most people use the exact same password for email, facebook, and UWO. i am a web designer, i know passwords added to certain sites are not protected and can be seen by the admin of the site.

you really want to allow them all this info? let me remind you the site is owned and run by Savvia, UWO's biggest and most infamous scammer! he dedicates his life to scamming. If you are foolish enough to try purchase from URB, im sorry to say its your own fault when one day you get scammed. you think URB isn't keeping a database of all your IGNs, passwords, email addresses, and any other info you have given?

How can URB lay hands on your Paypal password, since buyers log on their Paypal account on Paypal.com and send payment to URB?

URB don't ask visitors to register, because buying ships from URB don't need registration on URB website.
Furthermore, URB recommend FB, Skype or direct email to uworeservebank@gmail.com. The whole point is, URB offers a number of options for safe communication, it is totally up to you to select one you are most comfortable with.

A typical deal on URB has the following steps:

              1) URB and buyers make a deal together on Facebook, Skype or email. (The in-game pms on tinyurl.com/urbscam are totally fake conversations).
              2) Buyer will visit Paypal.com and send money to URB paypal account uworeservebank@gmail.com (a buyer never needs to visit URB to complete a deal).
              3) URB will deliver ship after receipt of payment.

None of the steps above ever need buyers to provide any credentials whatsoever. But tinyurl.com/urbscam faked the entire conversation to show the opposite.
It is a scam report trying to ruin URB, but a lousy attempt:)

URB claim they dont want personal info, however in world chat, shouts, ask for you to join their facebook, so they will have your real name, main email address, your IGN, your password you chose for URB website which most people use the exact same password for email, facebook, and UWO. i am a web designer, i know passwords added to certain sites are not protected and can be seen by the admin of the site.

you really want to allow them all this info? let me remind you the site is owned and run by Savvia, UWO's biggest and most infamous scammer! he dedicates his life to scamming. If you are foolish enough to try purchase from URB, im sorry to say its your own fault when one day you get scammed. you think URB isn't keeping a database of all your IGNs, passwords, email addresses, and any other info you have given?

hows that? still wanna defend URB? give it up URB, you have failed.

You are such a fucking idiot, do you really think spamming that will help your public relations? Hell even if what you are saying is true you turn every single person against you by doing that shit.

You are a complete failure at any kind of business. You argue and spam and run players down with smear campaigns of your own. This IS NOT POLITICS. You are killing your own reputation with your actions.

Nah, not quite, we have visual evidence of how a URB deal goes:

              1. Buyer pays

              2. Buyer doesn't receive ship or is offered a fake ship with real ship name

              3. URB asks for a bunch of personal info including UWO login, facebook info, paypal info, email info, etc

              4. Buyer still doesn't receive ship, just a bunch of BS

              5. Buyer never receives ship. Risks suspension by reporting to GM or hope credit card company returns money...... Until now

A suggestion for ivyro.. remove the ability to see the latest comments on the Home page. It would stop the Home page being a Instant messenger chat room and stop putting this stuff in peoples faces when they come to your site. People would have to go individual pages and scroll all the way down to partake in this crap if they wanted.

              tinyurl.com/urbscam falls apart because:

              1) Skype chat has log of conversation history. If BigSteveO discussed deals with URB, he can take screenshots of Skype conversation and blur his username;

              2) likewise, he can take screenshots of Facebook conversation and blur his username.

              3) Paypal transaction page only reveals sender's and receipient's the email address and the deal amount. It is absolutely safe to just take screenshots of that page.

tinyurl.com/urbscam didn't give any of those more direct evidence.

              wow, just wow,,,,,
lets pretend for 1 minute that someone wants to buy a ship from scam bank.....
then they come here and see this desperate attempt at advertising, (the 50x same post), sad fail, lost customer.
then you get the responses to the 50x post calling out urb scam. double fail, double lost customer.
why bother spamming the same list over and over and over, i dont get it.
              does anyone?

Which he's doing very well. He cannot be reasoned with, no sense in even trying.

              tinyurl.com/urbscam falls apart because:

              1) Skype chat has log of conversation history. If BigSteveO discussed deals with URB, he can take screenshots of Skype conversation and blur his username;

              2) likewise, he can take screenshots of Facebook conversation and blur his username.

              3) Paypal transaction page only reveals sender's and receipient's email addresses and the deal amount. It is absolutely safe to just take screenshots of that page (URB did this in their post of full evidence for Jazzmin's scam).

tinyurl.com/urbscam didn't give any of those more direct evidence which are easier to get. There is no doubt that tinyurl.com/urbscam is another slander.

The "dickhead" Misun speaks of is FlushingToilet, this is URB newest alt.. The old one, MrTuggles was suspeneded permantently for a premeditated scam on Lavendermyst which he specifically targeted her for her wealth and nice personality.. URB is a scumbag scammer..

Last year at this time (the game anniversary) weren't there events, promotions, and exp bonuses? The server was very active. Now all the customer service people that can speak English decently were fired or quit like Nueme, and Para. People that had their NC disappear/stolen months ago have not had it returned, and no GM seems to be able to help. Will this game even make it to Second Age?

I find 6.5b for a Festive is way too small amount

              - this galley is really fun! Also I've seen nice Customs (la Royale) doing same job / have fun everyone.

What will happen to gpotato user regarding the announcement from nm? :(

              10-25-2013
The announcement is on the gPotato version of the site, too, so I assume they're transferring to OGPlanet as well?

I'm sure they will take care of everyone with regard to the announcement today. I can't imagine they would want to lose the business. And possibly this is a good move for UWO. NM has certainly proven that they are incapable of keeping this thing in control. Stay the course, don't worry, everything will be fine.

              10-25-2013
I think the reason nm wants to transfer the game is to make it alive again. nm keeping uwo will definitely shut down the server as they did not do a good job this year on listening to players suggestions and problems. lets just hope ogplanet will do a better job. question really here is:
              1. will updates still continue like the 2nd age?
              2. How about NC will og also supply those nc ships?

I suspect they will. They've got their own form of currency that they use to sell in-game items for the other games they manage.

I've checked out their website. They seem much more professional/with it than NM does. Also their english is much better, (they are based in california) so hopefully the translation errors will be less of an issue. Hopes and Dreams my friends!

              NetMarble is Bankrupt...My thoughts

NetMarble its a real shame your company went bankrupt and you had to sell all your assets to OG Planet...However you have nobody to blame but yourself.
You made the Selfish choice of making a quick buck over the fun factor and balance of your game you actions caused many people to leave, stop buying NC and hate you. All the things that made the game fun you took away fair and fun ESF,BC,Duels, SB'ing, Sailing Trade,Nation Competition all ruined by your actions.

You had the best, fun and most advanced balanced MMO's ever seen and you completely ruined it to make some quick cash with forging tools. I hope the quick buck was worth it as now you ended up going bankrupt in the end.

So I ask you in the end was it worth it???

Let this be a lesson to NetMarble, OG Planet and Scammers in this game

DO NOT LET THE TEMPTATION OF A QUICK BUCK RUIN YOUR LONG TERM SUCCESS

NM didnt bankrupt , they ignoring EU and US market to focus on asia , japan and korea
NM korean site still running over 20 games
But well , finally we get the better support team , better publisher , after checked OGP's site , i believe that NM planned this for a long long time ago , or maybe OGP did put alot of efford in this game

Netmarble did go bankrupt in US that's why they ditched the US they squeezed as much money as they could and in the process broke gameplay so badly that they ended up losing much more money than they gained common sense is right they made a quick buck only to lose it all PITIFUL!
