Some would argue that dungeons don't really give too much ducats, but it definately gives too much exp, with all goods having 0 cost so 100% profit/margin = too much exp! Every new player has an overly high trade level and crap adv/marit level now. Where's diversity?

Paneling alone is worth 150m to 200m and dismantling is $5 which gold spammers say $5 = 100m then the 7 improves also costs like 10m per improve for parts and shipmasters not to mention later improves require a lot of SB permits a few dollars of permits would be another 100m so claiming that it's only worth 600m to 800m (and saying that it's MAX) is outright scam. Honestly I'd rather sell it to NPC than benefiting dishonest buyers like you.

A lot of players don't add Bulletproof Armouring on MFCV/MSF etc. Which means, if we use Improved Gunport + Seamine Removal + Bulletproof Armouring we will have comparable armour to these ships. Sure we get less dura but we don't have to worry about floods if we have Hernan (against drill of destruction) and we have Seamine Removal (against CLR special seamines) so this is a solid ship only problem is weak melee but no one dies in melee in ESF anyway and dura well we cannot do much about that. Still, this is a good enough ship for ESF!

Miyo is a noob, 600 - 800m is all it will ever be worth, and the value ius drastically decreasing considering the new oxford skills made this ship and awful choice due to small crew. Ontop of that the second a royal frigate can go 5/5 it will be a better ship than the mod frigate, because the official hull bonus is better than 2 improves.

So please npc the ship because soon only noobs will want them.

Also take a regular mf, which is worth 350m max, add 150 mil for pannel, and another 200 mil max for improves / parts / permits, its still only worth 700m, it dosent gain value above whats spent, infact most improved ships are worth less than naked ships because they arent perfect, or just plainly bad improved.

Any MF thats not + 250 dura is junk and needs to be redone, making all the money spent pointless to a buyer, dropping the value down to 4 - 500mil, considering having to dismantle a noobs bad ship is - 100mil alone.

problem with MF is about the crew numbers.. you will always need to add crews numbers to use the max power of the cannons. it is not top of the line ship.. could be use in some npc training or term fight as support.

you need a minium number of the cews+ your cannon numbers to max the fire power. if the crew numbers goes below it. power will drop for like 15% for every 1 crews~15% loss (from japanese wiki). which means you need to add lots of crews for the use of your cannons.
lets say if you are using 5x14 cannons.. min crews needs 40.. i.e. you need a min of 110 crews + a few spares crews in case you have some being killed/jumped over board.
5x16 cannons needs 120 + a few more.


case 1: Improved gun port + Cooperation enhancement

this gives better base prefermance.. more dura.. total 120 crews: good enought for using 5x14 cannons. but the CE skill only work if you are in fleet

case 1b: Improved gun port + Cooperation enhancement

28 crews total allow you to use 5x16 cannons


Case 2: Improved gun port + heavy bombing
main.php?id=192&fs=17329
120 crews are only enough for 5x14 cannons.. but heavy bombing work fine in both solo/fleet, if you know how to use it cleverly.

Because Custom Vaisseau is priced way higher than MF,the extra boost in stats cannot match the huge increase in price difference. Side note, Custom Ambush Siam has way better stats than MF and are priced slightly lower than MF, the only flipside is it only has 4 broadsides,but that can be overcome because Netmarble will be releasing an item to add additional broadside soon...

I totally agree with Junchul. I've never seen a properly modded MF in my whole entire uwo life. Same goes for Custom Vaisseau. Noone knows how to mod ships like this properly. At 7mods, you should be able to max dura, sail, and at least 16 turn. For ships like MF, you should add +4 sailors becuase you can't shoot max damage.

the worst one I saw was plus 80 dura, plus 3 turn, plus 6 crew (really needs 120 to work properly without having to go back to docks after every single fight), plus 215(!) vert, only one skill, heavy bombing. But twenty Wave Resistance wooo!

I don't even know how you can take a 7 improvement boat and get to those numbers, but by goodness somebody did!

You are dead doing pirate hunting in a MF, pirate just go and melee you, a couple assault, and game over. And in cannonfight, there are better ships. Different is a MF in a fleet.

okay... never bounty hnt in this ship for several reason... the ones pointed out above but also the fact that most pirates are high lvl people with max skills nowadays and with low armour and sailors which you get wiht#th a mf you wont last long... for instance if you're using a mf you're undoubtably going to be a low lvl anyway with low lvl repair i would think so therefore someone with r20 epne and a few master cannons with high rank accuracy and ballistics too can rock out -450-600 with carronades every few seconds please forgive the spelling mistakes and this is only my opinion... i just think if you're going into bounty hunting make sure you are ready with high rank skills and no lower than a vaiseeau or its nc counterpart as they will give you the best chance at survival and the best chance of having a foundation to build you're bounty hunting on besides with the comeabout of korea very soon they made be a few new pirates for you to hunt anyway... if this sounds stupid please ignore it as i am kinda drnkl lol

Anyways, MF lack crew and armor... durability is low too, and is hard to reach max firepower (ship need to be built with extra crew chambers, and in battle goes easily down the limit)
If MF is the only option for pirate hunting... levels and skills cannot be good.
Also, MF have exapnded hold, so is a little slower than the normal Royal Frigate, and both are very similar in improvements. And no one tries to use RF against pirates... in fact, have little chances 1 vs 1 against other 50+ heavy ships and its variants.

Not sure why Junchul got such a vehement response. His post was pretty much spot on. I have a 6/6 royal frigate, modded well. I wanted to see for myself how the ship performs. I like the ship, I _want_ to really like the ship, but it just doesn't stack up to a 6/6 vaisseau imo. Modified Frigates are essencially the same ship as a Royal Frigate except they have a bigger hold, so they're a bit slower. This is not the ship you want to use against pirates who are trying to board. Their strength (boarding) works directly against your weakness (crew size, no defensive ship skills). If you can somehow manage to keep away from them AND their aide (they will bring him in to try to corner you up or catch you in a crit), you might have a chance, but there again you are trying to play keep-away and all they have to do is escape the ring.

hmm imo if you fleet, whilst bounty hunting then its safer. so fleet of 5 x MF might work, the crew size is not important; we know its low this is not a melee ship - but you don't need to melee a pirate, just sink him/her. however it is a low lvl player ship and any serious maritimer would use a 6/6 vaisseau over this ship

The armor of this ship is so low that it could take up to 800 damages from non-forged cannons. I can hardly see why this ship would be good for cannon vs cannon combat.

This ship tries to fit in the "real" uses of frigates in the 1700s, isnt supossed to fight 1 vs 1 against ships of the line. This is a nice combo ship and can be annoying in battle well used, but regretfully UWO allows heavy galleys and vaisseau warships to fight anywhere around the world so this ship is forced to fight them.... So 1 vs 1 is almost useless except fighting clippers :(
But, could be an awesome ship if the heavy class is divided between Vaisseaus / Galleassess and Frigates / corbettes / galleons...

well i did spent a little over 400m for a ticket but kicker is not that off mark, on SSIPs alone modded ships cost a whole lot more now, at market top price the 52 SSIPs are over a billion pluss parts at CS prices are around 100-200m and the 200-400m for ticket, hence for a well modded MF 7/7 at 1b youre getting the ticket and parts for free, and the seller gets enough to mod his next one. heck i was unlucky and got a teak mine dection one so mine has to be dismantled too (which may cost more than another ticket) that alone have stoped me from modding it
