                    this is far from useless. Red Ointment makes Black Ointment/ Black Ointment makes White Ointment / White Ointment makes Red Ointment its a great way to grind alchemy. and if your running dungeons to get the gold you need instead of buying it you get rich grinding alchemy >.>

                    yeah some people buy ointments for a lot like kubrius he buys everything xD but he is a nice player a little stuck up but nice
                    mmm making ointments is a good way to grind alchemy you are going to need a big hull to carry all the gold salt books and ointments thats the only downside some people prefer other methods to grind those ranks like pots then gold making but depends on many things
