The red colored version, as well as the Blue and green ones, are made with a special Florentine recipe with Anita in Lorenzos office in Florence. You need R13 Handicrafts, and 760 Handicrafts points (seems kinda strange it's made with handicrafts and not sewing...). Your also need 40 Velvet, 10 Exquisite Velvet, and 2 Exquisite Dye to make it.

And the black one can be found with a "Shipwreck route map" from the archives in Ambon or Ternate listed above.

It actually requires 2 Fine Dye, not Exquisite dye.

The florentine recipe produces the brown, purple and green option at the top of the page. This hat gives +1 appraisal and is made using a recipe from a special npc that only sometimes appears in the company colony, see the page for the blue hat.
