The in-game description of the map is a bit misleading. Instead of the recog/unlock r12, it lists the requirements of recog r1.

there r two different notions: u must have 10 reco 12 unlock in order to pull it, but then u only need r1 to complete it. it's the only explanation I can offer to this incongruous piece of info.

It'd actually make sense, if I didn't get prof for both recog and unlock, while using the map. It also wasn't some minor prof, which I'd be getting for r1.
My guess is an error in description (during localization process maybe).

Definitely an error in the description's localization; I gave the map to a friend with r7 unlock, and they got the message 'Nothing discovered'. Meaning they didn't have enough unlock to open the map. I got the map back, and on my first recognition use, got the message 'Looks like there's something around here'. Several more tries, and boom, treasure. Without both r10-12 Recognition and Unlock, this map cannot be opened (and can't be obtained from the Archives, either).

Located at: 897,1874 (northern tip of that small island north-east of Stockholm)

Rewards: 148,320 ducats, plus the black Broad Felt Hat.

Right now Ambon (but not Ternate) is in Central Capital status so this map should be obtainable.

Not sure if it's required, but I didn't have any luck finding this map until I brought my geography rank over 12, then it showed up in 1 go.
