                                                                How does this compare to Cruise Light Clipper. Yes, it's larger, but from a pure speed perspective assuming both close to maxed (Cedar or Teak, max sails, high turn, WR, etc.)

                                                                I have one of these modded 5/5, with 3 mod full rigged sails + 2improved extra large spanker I get around 423vert and 406hora sail mine has panel but Teak would be faster, max sails, 13turn/18wave, I used for piracy had no problems catching lvl 52 clippers

                                                                there is no comparison, even if you leave this thing in oak hull or go crazy and official plate it (not really something I would recommend). It will still leave a cruise light clipper in the dust. It accels faster and it has a higher top end speed.

                                                                I got one of this and its only 4/5 and will out run any clipper not just cruise light clippers when the ship was still 1/5 it was hiting 16.5 kts in the north south pacific going to EA and that was like a say at 1/5 full moded this ship is supper fast

                                                                I just tried it with this ship 4/5 max sails +12 wave and just shy of full ship prof it crossed the pacific Ocean in 15 days toping out around 18.5kts this is of course not using speed boost this ship is no shit fast.

                                                                it is fast but lets not get crazy, large survey clipper is marginally faster, cruising tea clipper faster yet. But for it's level it is a huge step up in speed and is fast for a long time level-wise

                                                                FLC without speedboost is already hard for this ship with 30% and college skills to keep up

                                                                don't care who considers what I just raced a mod tea clipper he has max sails max wave I leave him at port eating dust then I tow him up 2 speed and he candled follow hit his sail handling and EA. and I still pulled away form him so really don't mater what you think the fact is this ship is much faster then you think coz its small and lighter prob but for what ever reason its faster so eat me shit and my dust

                                                                I agree. After reading the comments on here about it, i decided to build one, so now its 3/5, teak hull, max vert, max hor, +4 ts.....working on the WR and armor next. It will go from Virginia colony to Lisbon in 11-12 days as it is now. Very nice ship.

                                                                I'm pretty sure a fully modded LMS is faster than a fully modded XC. But, the XC definitely accelerates faster. Way faster. Also, the XC is much more equipped for battle and the Heavy Bombing skill is a fairly big plus when on the defensive against pirates.

                                                                I have a XC myself and am planning on getting a Large Survey Clipper. After reading the comments here, it sounds like this would still be faster than a LSC, which doesn't make sense to me seeing as how the LSC starts out with more vertical and horizontal sails, as well as as ever so slightly higher wave resistance. So, my question is, is a fully modded Xebec Cruiser REALLY faster than a fully modded LSC?

                                                                Which ships are really faster than this? I see many people comparing stats but when you sail this ship even with less sails and armor beats many much higher adv lvl ships.

                                                                Those ships are similar to Xebec Cruiser because they're hybrid of battle/adventure ship. They're pretty fast. Now, you can do fully mod ,so Xebec Cruiser might be best ship for players who are under level 50.

                                                                I am kinda wish that Sha-Chuan has EA so that it'd be best ship for adventurer since it has 5 sails and is pretty good at battle and trade as well.

                                                                My base model (no mods) time trials of Xebec Cruiser vs Cruise Light Clipper (Emergency Acceleration used on both):
                                                                London to Seville: XC = 10:54 (mins/secs), CLC = 10:15
                                                                Seville to London: XC = 9:40, CLC = 9:47
