Santo Domingo Adventurer's Guild
Hey, the town official asked you to find out about a butterfly with beautiful wings before, didn't he? Wayra would like to now ask you to go look for a butterfly that lives near the Amazon river. The Guild is very interested in this as well.

Phantom butterfly
Oh, you're talking on the butterfly-hunt job? I wanted to repay Raul for the sky-blue bird, so I thought it would be good if I could tell Raul about a creature he doesn't know about. Then I heard about the "phantom" butterfly...
Reason for being called illusory
It's a "phantom" because people have seen it but haven't been able to capture and investigate it. ... But... this is a pretty hard job, do you think it's out of place for me to ask someone to do this, just to express my thanks to a friend?
Making people happy
But I really, really want you to find it! Raul is always so nice to me, I want to make him happy in return too. I heard about the butterfly from a sailor from San Juan, but I didn't think I could do it myself. That's why I went to the guild.
A blue sparkling butterfly
The phantom butterfly? Yeah, I've seen it. It was when I went to the land along the Amazon river. I was with a friend, and he suddenly shouted and pointed towards something. It was a shining blue butterfly. I've heard the rumours, but never thought I'd see it with my own eyes!
Inlaid with gemstone powder
Oh, of course it was impressive! It was shining like it had powdered jewels coming out of it, and it blended strangely with the green of the forest. The two of us tried to catch it, but it disappeared like the rumours said.
Tavern in Maracaibo
Come to think of it, I remember there were these folks who knew a lot about creatures around the Amazon in Maracaibo. Maybe they can tell you about the butterfly as well.
Even a skilled mariner
Oh yes, we've also heard the rumours about the phantom butterfly. They say that it's most commonly seen in the lands near the upper reaches of the Amazon, but I've never heard of anyone who's captured it. If I don't know about it, then it's safe to say nobody's caught it yet. You seem good, but I don't know if you're good enough.
Adventurer born in Europe
Hey hey, you're info is outdated. Listen up. About 10 years ago, an adventurer actually succeeded in investigating that butterfly. He's apparently a legendary figure himself. He's from Europe originally, but was active in these parts as well...
Stand shoulder to shoulder with a legend
Well, if you can investigate the butterfly yourself, maybe you can be a legend too! ... well, okay, maybe not, but the point is that it's not impossible to investigate the butterfly. Good luck.
Investigation of phantom butterfly
Apparently, someone has successfully capture the phantom butterfly. This task will truly test my skills as a sailor. I should go to the upper reaches of the Amazon and find this jewel-encrusted butterfly in the lands there.

- Morpho Cypris ★★★★★★ (Insect or worm) Exp:1020 Fame:390
It would not be an overstatement to say that the intensely bright wings of this insect are like gems that fly through the air. The white band running from the front to the back wings adds to the brilliance.
