                        아, 그 빛은 은에 섞은 금속과 그비율이, 다른 것과는 다르기 때문이네. 그것은 이 대장간의 비밀이니 가르쳐 줄 수는 없지. 촛대라면 이곳의 교회에 있으니 조사하는 것은 상관없네. 베네치아의 사제에게는 주문하면 만들어 주겠다고 전해주게.

                        3. 하얀 빛의 비밀
                        시라쿠사의 교회에 하얗게 빛나는 촛대가 있다고 한다. 안쪽 제단에 있을테니 '탐색'을 하면 될 것이다. 은세공은 은에 동을 섞은 합금을 사용하는 게 일반적이지만 여기에서는 대체 무엇을 섞고 있는걸까？
