i wouldnt trade my RVG for any MSC, i think this ship is highly under rated. but everyone has their preferences. 240 crew, incredible dura, good speed(not the best) more armour than a CLR. and its dura when panelled is 1156 making this 1 of the few ships that can go over 1400 dura and can go 8/8 improved.

It's bad cause 4 broadside, even without god cannon issue 4 broadside is bad cause you miss out on potential kills (say when teammate melee and you are parked at opponent's rear for a crit... you fail to kill... that's mega fail).
RHG is also limited to 4 broadside but it has more armor so it fills a more specialized role.
If you are in for fleet battle this ship isn't great, if you are going to 1v1 and melee till the death then sure it's fine.

from what i heard there is disorder in the ranks of PAC, some want to keep adventuring as they had done for time, but the more affluent NC players want to bounty hunt -(better clear your own decks first). SL never really lost Mahir or Jeeves - they never really had them those 2 been bouncing in/out of comps for a long time.

but as is always the case the few are seemingly deciding for the many im pretty sure all PAC's war declarations (they have declared on many) are not welcomed by all its members, and when the shit hits many will leave...

Tbh Char.Aznable is one of the greatest MTer's that this Server has seen. RC, SL and PAC are all good companies. Just with totally different idea's on what the definition of a good MTer is. For PAC it is to supply them with endless NC ships, for RC it is to train and keep swapping there ship's to get the strongest nothing wrong in that.. (btw Char has a MLA/FIS idiots) and finally SL is just about straight forward MTing. My company is nowhere near as strong as these, I am alright with all there members. IF you dont believe me on the fact this is iPod PM me in game I will confirm. IF you have a problem with another company keep it off of uwodb page's INTENDED on HELPING other players. yeah this is a great ship, but its not comparable to an AFCV through dura. however this ship is so under rated. ive been saying this for a long time, and still nobody cares about this. more crew, dura, armour than CLR, with very little less speed than CLR. this would sink CLR, despite CLR having extra broadside, this ship can take that punishment, get your CLR in melee and beat the CLR providing both players have same skill etc. total melee monster that has been neglected since it came out except for a few players who used it to its full potential. sold mine for 2.5bil, lost a little money on it, already miss it.

it is under rated, you must admit. when players ask to buy, they refuse to pay more than 2bil even for 8/8. your arguement could be that 'CLRs can be bought at 2-2.5bil and are better', ive heard that alot from players. personally i think this is better than CLR. and like i said i sold for 2.5bil and still made a loss since i added D sails, but players wont see the value in this ship and pay more. good time to buy 1 since theyre still under-valued imo. and think about when the +1 broadside comes out, or if it even will. 5 broadside on this ship with alot more dura, crew, armour than CLR! it will be a beast that few will want to engage in melee or cannon fire. hell i might buy another back if i dare venture into FSD again *shudders* but might have to be done.

That goes to show you are doing it WRONG... Just because you're in a melee ship doesn't mean you have to pass up opportunities to crit... Unless you're fighting uber noobs or NPCs your opponent would try to melee your FIS/MIS/MSF teammate instead of you, and you might have teammates who are stuck in the mess where they retreat from melee and instantly go into another melee, and there are many other situations where you would find your teammate melee'ing an opponent. In these situations, should you park at your opponent's bow/stern and get ready for a crit where you can potentially kill the opponent in one hit? Or should you think "I'm in a melee ship so I will be prepared to melee that dude once they're done"? Isn't the answer very obvious?

And of course, finding an ally in melee with an opponent is not the only time you crit, surely there are times where you and your ally is surrounding an opponent and the angle/formation ensures that one of you can crit? If you are in CLR/ALA/MLA/whatever you can switch to cannon skills and force a crit, if you are "I'm a melee ship I will only melee" then your opponent can just turn their bow/stern away from your ally and safely to you, as you have 4 broadside and have the mentality of not being bothered to shoot (so I bet you won't switch skills too).

Ya most of the popular nc battle ships have 6/6 7/7 8/8 to max dura easily anyway and then remaining parts go to armor or turn or even crew so I hae no idea why Beatrice thought dgaffs are needed to get "really good dura". Not to mention rich players who use dgaffs on trade shipshape not use them for dura.

As for myself, I target 17-20 turn on a battle ship, stormproof it if feasable and a level grinder, otherwise forget it, as much dura and armor as I can put on it. Max sails ofc if a 5/5 or 6/6 build, if 4/4 then max sails probably not going to happen. And pretty much in that order.

There, now pick all of that apart and tell me what's wrong with that.

All I said is that dgaff sails aren't desirable only to add turn performance, it's more to do with freeing up a body slot for more dura and armor. Juveniles.

You do not need 17-20 turn...... Of course higher turn values is always welcomed but it should not be a priority. Some would even say 11-12 turn is sufficient if you have enough steering rank and beyond that the turn speed bonuses are not that noticeable anyway.

Ok so why is dura more important? Because you will get crit no matter how fast you turn. In some situations like getting out of melee you might even get crit because there is no opportunity to turn before you get shot. May I remind you we are talking about RVG here so you should be in the heat of battle getting in and out of melee and often be surrounded. When you do get crit higher dura allows you to survive and repair while they reload. With shit dura you die in one shot.

if you want a high dura tub that can't get out of it's own way then by all means focus on dura first, then turn. You don't want any one thing over another, it's about the whole build and what it's going to be once finished. If you can live with 12 turn go right ahead, 15 is what you want? go for it. I see so many ships where the ONLY thing it has is dura and I just feel like that's as big a mistake as getting 22 turn.

The discussion is on what should be prioritized.
Dura should be prioritized because no amount of +turn can completely prevent crit so you must build to withstand a crit, the +turn helps reduce the number of times you get crit.
Yes, I'm implying survival is the most important thing because once you die you cannot kill you cannot repair/surgery you cannot do anything for your team so survival first then do whatever is it that you wish to do next - this is what priority means.

alright well lets bring this argument all the way back around to what got this shitstorm started in the first place.

If Dura is king and is so important, THAT is why you use Dgaff sails. So that you can get full dura and turn performance won't be in the low teens.

If you want 17-20 turn, you would prefer to use dgaffs so that you can still get near-max dura and/or good armor. One person is getting attacked from all sides here for stating that dgaffs are important not just for turn, but for dura too.

yes some ships are 7/7, 8/8, even 10/10, maybe you can get away without dgaffs on a ship that has a bazillion improvements to work with. But for the 5/5's and the 4/4's dgaffs are key to building a really nice one.

First off, why side-track to 4/4 or 5/5 ships? We were talking about RVG that's 8/8 and you should be able to max dura and still get sufficient turn. Adding dgaffs just gives you the extra turn, not the extra dura because you have enough improve slots to max dura anyway. Gosh how hard is it to understand this?

At -20% hold (i.e., no penalty to sails/wave) Refitted Venetian Galleass has 11 base turn. That is very high base turn. With 8 improve slots it should be easy to get good turn AFTER you max dura. So I agree that Delphin Gaffs are used to add turn, which is exactly what they do. Beatrice dumbass.

d-gaff is used based upon a rumor that turn speed below 15 experiences a significant turn penalty.

Say base turn is 11, so two d-gaff is needed to reach turn 15 without using painter rope.

Under NO circumstance would you want to put painter-rope / traverse rope into a battleship. After having max dura, every available slots (excluding the four for skills) should be going to armor. If armor is maxed (in case of AV), additional slots should go into crew size.

You must use D-storm for wave and D-gaff for turns if you do not want your ship end up being one of those newb mods.

I did indeed say that you use dgaffs for really good dura, not for turn. you can't comprehend what that means so you pull crap out of your own backside and start flinging it. You can get really good turn WITHOUT DGAFF, but the boat suffers. I have seen many of the new players talk about why dgaffs are so expensive because there are much cheaper ways to add turn to the boat. This is all I meant by you can tell who knows what they're talking about and who does not.

Dgaffs are used to get good dura on a boat, that's the overall purpose for them. It's what makes them so expensive. I'm sorry that you can't wrap your head around that. 11 turn on an infighting boat just isn't enough imo, it's not even close.

RVG are the same, i know that FLR needs different FS parts for PEA skill. some ships have other optional skills. dont rush into improving a ship without knowing 1st, usually world chat and GMs are the best source, asking on here may get you anonymous trolls giving bad info. so far NC ships labelled 'Ambush' have more optional skills than their non-NC counter-parts. ive had AFCV and was told nope, skills are the same as FCV, now i have ARG, was told by deckhand, nope skills are the same. when AV came out i said it might have more optional skills vaiss doesnt have, and i was given abuse and labelled a troll trying to fool players into false improves.

Note: with the korean update fast approaching, i have heard rumours that the cannon expansion tools will be released shortly, so dont make improve your RVG just yet in case the cannon expansion is an FS part, but i dunno if it is or isnt. also possibility of new a panel, fingers crossed. ive seen the black panel on CLR/RHG types from the other servers and it looks so beautiful and evil.

Nukeshaw uses a teak turkish galley to pirate in. Non NC teak turkish galley... He only has a FIS when im ESF. Hes far from anytype of sell out. Also the GH/PAC pirate party did happen that month, nuke won with over 180 kills. He won a few billion and gave it away in 10m increments to anyone in seville that exchanged him that day. Sealegions died because lodian left one day maybe he will come back but would be impossible to rebuild sl to what it was!rc is dead too pac is active but even what it is now it has nothing on what sl was. the tournament should all how weak pac was then.. maybee they are stronger now, garuda and pac are the future un till someone else comes along. or untill nm pull the plug

awwww PAC this, PAC that, PAC PAC PAC, wah wah wah. PAC started with just a few ppl, now is a top company and most talked about. Apparently we did something right. NC ships as bribes? rofl. we have 50 members, some have come and gone, so say we had 70-80 ppl that have been in PAC. Where did all these NC ships come from? not even URB has 70 ships haaaaaaa.
And worse thing is all you haters are too afraid to leave your IGN.

A: They are gotten by PAC Leaders spending LOTS of NC and also from the known ship scammers PAC recruited in the company like Wolf_Fang ChuengPoTsai,Bartolomeo.These guys sole job when recruited is to scam ships and use them to bribe current and prospective memebers. Thank you for asking :)

@MingMei You Said just because PAC lends new players ships to grind it is not a bribe
A:Thank you for your inquiry 1st off PAC does not have any low or mid level people in company so they dont need grind ships, secondly whether you lend or give it is still a bribe as PAC draws you in and keeps you in by letting you use free NC ship or NC items as long as you join or stay in the company. Who wouldnt want to join PAC and sell out if they can get any NC ship they want upon joining for free? Most memebers of PAC have sold out this way ^_^

@Sergent002 you asked if you were bribed why did you leave?
A: You got caught before when you accepted a FIS for joining PAC after you were exposed you left the company due to embarassment.Thnak you for your question :)

A: Yes Bowser of PAC still plays he uses the name Yashiru_Kusanagi now and is CO Director of PAC. This is due to him sinking and farming his own company member Lild who quit and came back to PAC after this happened after being promised a MKW. When word got out and people began making fun of those two he paid for a name change. :)

It depends on when it was last released, and its supply and demand. Usually the longer it's been since it last came out from the cove, the lower the drop rate, and the higher buy demand from players, the more difficulty you can expect to find one. I don't doubt that PP will likely put this back in the cove at some point, but when exactly remains to be seen...
