My adventure level is 28, Trading level 25 and Maritime level 8, Can I use this ship?

Steward I don't think you can use this ship. For sail this ship, you need Lv 23 for adventure, you also need lv - for battle and lv - for trade.
            - mean is cap max level, you need level 60 or level 65 or level 70 for - level. When it cap it is -

the require level '-' means that is level 0, not the max caps level and steward, yes you can sail this ship

This is the only graduation ship that can be effectively use for a long time after the graduation. If you have a shipbuilder remover the skill it comes with you can add enough speed to it and increase the cargo size enough that it is a pretty good adventure ship up to about level 30 adventure or so. Maxed out it can have over 400 cargo and that also makes it a fairly good ship to put s low level aide in

If you are dismantling this to add cargo, you're doing it wrong.

Investing lots of money into a ship that can go 2/2 is already not a good idea. Using this ship for cargo is a worse one. The thing that makes this ship sweet is the monstruous top speed compared to the level requirements.

This actually is an excellent adventure ship. The compareable player made one is a Tow Cutter(lvl 23 adv req also) which if FS built in say Porto, can hit 341v/88h from the build with full SHP(80). The only real differences are, the Tow Cutter has a lot less cargo and is strictly a Point A to Point B ship(which is fine for Europe/Medd adventuring), and the Tow Cutter has 12 WR from the build and can sail through a storm without modding it. Since a Tow Cutter like that would cost a few mil to get a decent SB to build from scratch and this Sambuk is free(and adventurers are usually broke), like i said, escellent adventure ship.

Besides UWC ships, is there any better ship in terms of speed available than Grad Sambuk with EA before lvl 52 Clipper?
There are many excellent adv ships of lvl 30s and 40s but all of them seem unavailable atm. Only Large Galleon with full mod can beat GSam but I dont think its worth spending SSIP.

Sha-Chuan or Armed Sha-Chuan. Will need to ask a Spanish or Dutch player with EA permit to get it for you, then mod it.

Im afraid this ship is the best you can do (or the Xebec if you have not graduated from Advanced Adventure) until then, since all the listed ships you see require their ports to have a somewhat high development level before they can be built. However, with EA opened up for Dutch and Spain and with those players doing Nanban, this means more money coming in and the sooner we can get these ports development up. It's also rumored (can't confirm yet) that the trade good nerf when accessing dungeons via ESBT has not been applied, which means even more money coming in. Whether or not this is a positive or negative factor ill leave that to your opinion.

don't know if this is what you want to do DiNozzo but I just built a std. Adv. Sambuk and with g1 and 2 mods I pass grad Sambuks all the time. It's not the fastest ship afloat by any means bu it's pretty quick. Anyway, just a thought.

Do the same to a Grad Sambuk and it will outperform a SB built adventure Sambuk. Check the stats. +2 WR, same hold/armour, +21v//+32horiz... base advantage on Grad. So yeah, don't build a Sambuk, mod and grade the graduation one.

Daemon is right, and in the ship description it even says "Offers strong
base performance, but little expandability" (meaning that while it only has one mod to do to it, the base stats itself are pretty strong compared to similar options at that level). And for folks just starting to get out and about, these can actually be fairly fast compared to other low level req ships.

I had one I put EA on, did a cheap g1 vert sail addition, and it is surprisingly fast, fast enough to serve as the lead for my early spice runs (which I used to build up funds for a faster UWC ship). And many folks I know are still rocking the Grad Sambuk and will be for some time to come.

Agreed i have a 2/2 g1 grad sambuk with vert bonus, can sail from ambon to seville in about 40-45 min with a 30% speed boost.

I got lucky with my grad sambuk that it had EA to begin with. I ended up doing g3 ship speed up 1/2 on it and 1 mod - medium gaff, improved skysail and middle mast. Although it did not have max sails, it still had great speed for what it was. With 30% speed it was really fun in the pacific.....:)

I wonder which is faster, Grad Sam or Light Clipper (not cruise one).

            CaliCaddy
            11-23-2017
If, say, the grad sambuk is 2/2 and the light clipper is also 2/5 both g3 with speed up 1/2, I'd say grad sambuk is faster.

            11-23-2017
Isn't Light Clipper Iron built with FS? That's enough to avoid it imo.

I'd say either stick to grad sambuk or move on to Sha-Chuan / Armed Sha-Chuan.
