I'm still doubting between him and Victor. Although Victor has much higher requirements for the ShipBuilding bonus, at least he has the Casting benefits. (I'm not sure how useful Casting task on this aide is.)

If it were me I'd get Chester first and then sometime late late game i'd pick Victor up as a project. The time it takes to get Victor to level 41 takes away from the shipbuilding grind.

this casting skill is 100 x more useful than victors

this is not a casting skill but a casting assistance, meaning the production window can be minimized for casting while sailing so you can have a full view of the sea . Victor has casting assistance (less vigour consumed, instead of 5 it becomes 4 per prod) and has the casting skill which gives +1. :)

Chester is mainly used by players for sb so they can attain r20 w/ items of course. Cheers...

Chester is the best surgeon aide in the game by far. Now with the new tool to add a skill to him he is even more elite. Add plunder, rowing or leadership and he is even that much better than the even the next closest.
