2x slower than if you craft yourself (based on my calculation, while you already made 2 iron, your aide only made 1 iron at the same time, i dunno if it has any connection with paymaster traits etc)

your aide has the skill, it allows for production without the window open. thus can run in/out of buildings, enter/exit ports etc. without production stopping just need to top-up on vigor food as you go. it is marginally slower than normal production.

however you use this skill , then you run to archives n read books, go visit the bazaars and check comp shop, buy/sell at market, hand in a quest and take another , visit this site to ask some dumb questions =)

@ claudia: i wonder how you can run in and out of buildings at sea. this skill doesnt work on land.

this is an useful skill if you keep getting fire during production. go to sea with ur workshop (galley if youre talking cooking task skill), start ur ship, then keep your finger on the fire buckets button.

also yes it is slower than producing with the "serially produce" button.

My aide has this, i am smith meister, and yet the delegate production doesn't kick in at sea - what gives?

well the obvious question would be do you have your aide in the correct job? If yes then all I can say is I have had similar issues with cooking task. Aide is set in the proper job, all the ingredients are there, but it won't actually do any production.
