you have to develop your farm to the appropriate level before they will show up. What that is I am not certain, but the information here is not incorrect, just incomplete.

Japanese wiki: All you need is a minimum of three plots, and one of them must be a farmland which is able to (but not necessarily currently) producing Hemp.

ivyro doesn't show this rope in bord, only the regular salvage, can I get confirmation on improved salvage from bord? if so which floors

I can't even see where anybody even said these were a bordeaux drop. Improved salvage ropes are not found in any dungeon. Improved ropes and salvage ropes are what drop in bordeaux.

I just made a couple of these at my farm. It says above "2-3", but the two productions I did were "1" and "2". Just an fyi for those bringing just enough materials to make 2 ropes for the Salvager quest.
