Zap , you go to north beirut , you can search saws there. i got 45 saws for 4hours 30mins . don't need him to tell you spot

If your doing the Vinland discovery quest series, you can search and find the Shipright's saw next to the tent at the Vinland camp site. I had Search lvl 10+3.

Low durability and no repairability make me run between bank and shipyard every time I build a ship in Seville. Its really annoying.
If OGP release pepairable one with high dura as an Astro item, Im willing to pay 10USD for it.

Li Yue, try the Storebox Astro item. Items stored in the Storebox lose no durability.

[CONFIRMED]...Byblos Outskirts in Stacked Boulder to the North East.Keep searching after a lot of stupid Great Man and some NOOB rusty short sword.You will get saw for sure.

2000 vigour points later in Byblos Outskirts with r8+3, no saw, no great man, some rusty short swords though, a dull longsword and some stone sculptures the trade good. Does it sound like wrong spot?

I've begun to wonder whether or not item locations change from time to time. For example, Copper Armour was reported to be found at one landmark, but then turned up at another landmark entirely (see the comments). Failing that, I suppose it could be that the locations were misreported -- somebody meant North East as it appears on the Surveying map, not how the compass directions would recognize it. As I haven't gone seeking saws in Byblos, I cannot share my own findings at this time.

300 vigour points after my previous post, saw found by the stacked boulders that others mentioned - not near the ruins where the screenshots show. Although there was a guy searching there as I was passing by the ruins, so maybe that's a second spot there. I don't know if it matters, but when I found the saw I was searching by the east edge of the stacked boulders.

I think for certain items, they have multiple possible spawn locations thats why the different reporting locations.

The quest you're referring to is this: Fortress of treasure

Completing it allows one to travel further inland from Beirut outskirts to Byblos land zone. Access to Byblos is impossible without the quest (or following a fleetmate who's done it). Beirut outskirts are visitable without quest though, so long as you have East Mediterranean permit required to enter Beirut.
