1. Three Sacred Sites
For a long time now, those mountains have been places of training for Shugendou. They were a base for Shugendou, the center of Kumano and the root of the Shingon sects. All three of these viewed the mountains as sacred. The mountains were covered with sacred groves of trees. It is not a place you a person like you should go.

2. Mount of ascetic training
We have gathered information on the mountains in question. Apparently, it is a place of training for monks and the like. I will have to see if I can recognize the mountain from the nearby seas.
