Remember that merchant in Nagasaki? The one who is a compatriot of yours? Well we have a request form him. He says he saw something dimly lit in the darkness. He thinks it might be a will-o'-the-wisp. This sounds like it might be a dangerous request! I hope you will be alright!

It's a curse! And all the City Official can say is "Don't be frightened!" And they still can't tell us what that shinning light is. It's cruel! 2. [IMG:01] Glowing mushroom Some people have to much imagination. Well I guess he just doesn't know. It's not the fires of hell or some will-o'-the-wisp. It's just a glowing mushroom. The mushroom is not bad to look at, but you mustn't eat it. It's poison. 3. [IMG:06] Glowing poison mushroom Apparently, that faint glow comes from a mushroom. But they have forbidden their consumption since it is poisonous. I believe I will go to the outskirts of town and look at it myself.

Poisonous mushroom that grows in dead broad-leaf trees. When accidentally consumed it causes a hallucinogenic symptom of blue vision.
It has been known in Japan as a poisonous mushroom since ancient times and also appears in Anthology of Tales from the Past.
