      또 다시 비밀의 의뢰인한테서 의뢰가 들어왔네. 서서히 팔렌케의 비문에 대해 조사가 진행되고 있을테니 새로운 조사를 의뢰한다는 것이네. 그러고보니 뭔가 새로운 것이 판명되었다는 소문이 최근 귀에 들어왔네. 분명히 베라크루스라고 했던 것 같아.

                          1. Veracruz - Talk to; Travelling Scholar 2x
                          2. Veracruz - Talk to; Barkeep
                          3. Mayan Lowlands - Find, fight and kill a grave robber NPC. Don't confuse them with the Valverde Family NPC's, those guys are tough cookies.
                          4. Veracruz - Talk to; Travelling Scholar. (You will need Mayan Language Skill or American Translation Notes here.)
                          5. Veracruz - Talk to; Gatekeeper at South Veracruz entrance.
                          6. Mayan Lowlands - Search location is past the Valverde Family group, at top of stairs, outside dungeon entrance.

                          1. 비문의 신전
                          당신이 왕묘 조사에서 석관을 발견한 신전은 비문이 가득 새겨져 있어 「비문의 신전」이라고 불리고 있습니다. 거기에 적힌 내용이 상상하고 있던 것과는 전혀 달라서 말입니다만. …우리들은 비문의 신전의 두께나 석관을 숨긴 방법으로 보아 파칼왕의 묘임이 틀림없다고 생각하고 있었습니다만…

                          2. 파칼왕의 이름이 없다
                          신전에 새겨진 비문에는 파칼왕의 이름이 전혀 없다는 것 입니다. 저 정도로 엄중히 둘러싸인 무덤이라면 왕의 무덤임이 틀림없다고 생각됩니다만. 아직 우리들이 모르는 왕의 이름이 새겨져 있는 것일까요…

                          3. 노리는 신전
                          그런 얘기라면 자네가 직접 유적을 다시 조사하면 될 것 아닌가？ 하지만 최근 유적 주변에 질이 안좋은 무리들이 와서는 신전을 조사하고 있는 모양이야. 게다가 모험가나 학자를 습격한다고 하는군. 피해보고가 끊기질 않아. 자네도 조심해야할 거야.

                          4. 하라치 위니크
                          윽…이 신전은…왕의 무덤이 아니…야…. 하라치 위니크…하라치 위니크의 무덤이다…. 이상해…빠, 빨리…！！

                          5.「진실의 사람」
                          하라치 위니크？ 「진실의 사람」이라는 의미입니다만…. 그럼, 왕은 아니라는 겁니까？ 진실의 사람이라는 것은 도대체…. 그건그렇고 아까부터 당신을 멀리서 지켜보고있는 남자가 있습니다만. 아, 가버렸다…. 문쪽으로 간 것같습니다.

                          6. 계속해서 쫓는 이
                          그 남자라면 유적이 있는 쪽으로 향했는데. …어디의 누군지는 모르겠지만 자네가 유적을 조사하러 갈 때마다 뒤를 쫓아가고 있었다구？ 뭐야, 전혀 알아차리지 못했단 말인가？ 이런 대발견을 한 녀석치고는 주의가 산만하구먼. 하하하！

                          7. 비문의 신전 재조사
                          팔렌케의 비문의 신전 안에 매장된 인물은 왕이 아니라 「진실의 사람」같다는군. 진실의 사람이라는 것은 도대체 누구일까？ 중요인물이라면 부장품이 함께 매장되어 있을 텐데. 그것들로 확인할 수는 없는 것일까？ …그런데 뒤를 쫓아온 자는 도대체 누구지…

                              I have troubles pulling this quest. I have made both pre-quests "History hidden in lettering on a crest" and "Grave of the Mayan king". I have more than 120k adventure fame. Maybe there are some more hidden requirements, maybe I need battle fame.
                              I checked some Korean and Japanese sites, and I found some criteria for this quest which I do not understand:
                              Experience and fame 300/200
                              I wonder what do these numbers mean.

                              total lvl 300 and 200 fame :D I've had no trouble spawning the quest, but do you have Mayan language? that might help.

                              Yes, I have Mayan language.

                              I took a closer look at Japanese site and if I understood it correct there is one more pre-quest - a nine star quest from Alexandria called "Run down the haunt of illegal diggers". Hmmm, I'll give it a try and post here the results.

                              Shirin, have you done "Run down the haunt of illegal diggers" quest?

                              Yes, I did the whole chain to get the peacock brooch discovery. It's always nice to triple check jap. wiki, even though it's hard and frustrating to understand it, somethimes. And experience award from discovery "Mysterious slate" is really epic. Good luck with chain mate!

                              So I've done "Run down the haunt of illegal diggers" quest from Alexandria, and after that sailed to Portobelo. I used only one QMP there and finally got this "A false truth" quest. So Japanese wiki was right.

                              Look at the discovery card description, and consider the dialogue boxes leading up to it: you've been had. Outwitted. Fooled! Scheck von Wald stole the actual discovery right out from under you, and left a mocking faux artifact in its place to rub your nose in it. You'll have to pay him back for that... perhaps invite him to a banquet in his honor?
