          Grave of the Mayan king
          No Expiration
          Tunis Adventurer's Guild
So you found Mayan ruins in the New World? It's a place called Palenque, isn't it? We received a request to investigate there again. You first need to talk to a Scholar in Seville. Expeditions from different countries went to investigate those ruins, but they all returned looking rather downtrodden. Maybe this job somehow connected to that?

                  1. Tears of remorse
Hearing about the traces of an ancient civilization on the new continent, our group of scholars set off in high spirits... But with no results. For datails, you can read the research report on the archaeology shelf. Just thinking about it brings tears to the eyes.

                  2. Report of investigation of Yucatan peninsula
...The stone wall barely visible in the middle of dense vegetation. Decoloured and deformed due to wind and rain, it stood there deceiving our eyes. More importantly, our vision was restricted to the lenght of 3 men by the dense leaves. We decided the study wasn't feasible with that manpower and cost...

                  3. Failure of the investigation
So, that's how it was. Although we could sense the presence of Mayan kings around us, we were unable to find them. How immature and pathetic we were as scholars... I called you for i felt that you may be able to shed some light on the matter.

                  4. Request for another investigation
The purpose of our study was to find "The royal grave". I would like to entrust you with the task we were unable to accomplish. I am suspicious of the pyramid shaped structure, but we were unable to narrow it down as there were several of that shape. Local information is useful in research proceed to Portobelo.

                  5. Story from a young man's grandfather
From what i've heard from my grandfather, all tall Mayan buildings are temples and each one is built for the shrine section at the top. Don't you think the royal grave may be elsewhere?

                  6. Girl's story
The Mayan kings apparently covered their graves with multiple layers of stone and kept lots of gold and silver with them. Since these were built extremely solid, they hardly looked like graves from the outside and their locations were forgotten over time. Strange story, isn't it?.

                  7. The market keeper's story
A long time ago, the Mayans seem to have abandoned their city and suddenly disappeared. They seem to have vanished suddenly leaving behind the cities and buildings where they lived for such a long time. If they could abandon them so easily, there must have been something important. Even graves moved elsewhere...

                  8. Raul's loyalty
I too, was an adventurer on the high seas once. Take heed of my warning. Never get taken in by conventional wisdom or traditions. There will be no great discoveries if you think like everyone else. So, where would you go? To search throughly the vecinity of the Palenque ruins and study again the remains, or to the west where they said to have moved?

                  9. Temple of the Inscriptions - Altarpiece
There is a smell around the buildings... A faint trace of raw and warm odours of mould frm the gap between the stones... Isn't it due to it hollow nature that it get humid and heated by the strong Yucatan sun rays? Maybe this was...

                  10. Discovery of the grave of the kings?
Nothing more than a possibility, your observation may be correct. Let's check the alter for any secret doors. Watch out for traps.
