      Goddess of slaughter
      No Expiration
      Calicut Adventurer's Guild
Do you remember helping to find the statue of Vishnu? The man who requested that job now wants a very eerie effigy... I thought about telling him to go ask a sculptor if he really wants one so bad... But if you are interested, will you investigate and find a statue, like you did before?

                      1. A bizarre god almost become an object of faith.
A peculiar looking idol, eh...? Well, despite it looks many people worship this god. Have a look on the "Theology" shelf. You should be able to find plenty of books that talk about that god here.

                      2. Kali
She is the goddess of war and takes pleasure in blood, alcohol, and death. She is one of Shiva's wives and she is often depicted in all black. She has four arms and a long tongue coming out from her mouth. Around her waist is a dismembered arm and around her neck is a necklace made of skulls. She is particularly worshipped in the Bengal region.

                      3. Head to Calcutta
As you know, Kali is a Hindu goddess and wives of Vishnu. It may seem strange to have such a disturbing goddess for people who have grown up in an environment like yours, but if you want to know more about her you should try asking around Calcutta.

                      4. Ebony goddess
You're doing a research on Kali? Well, the story we tell about her goes like this. When the gods and the demons fought, Kali was brn from forehead of the goddess Durga. Durga's face become completely black in anger, which is why Kali's face is also black.

                      5. Demon god Raktabija
Kali's skill in battle was like none other. Her appearance and her strength were like none ever seen... The demons decided to send a demon called Raktavija into battle. Its is said that whenever a drop of his blood hit the ground it would create another copy of himself. But, in the end Kali was able t destroy this demon as well. So... what do you think happened next?

                      6. God who drinks blood
Raktavija was cut down many times in battles with Kali. The battlefield was covered with his duplicate. So, Kali decided to try and swallow Raktavija whole. The bleeding Raktavija was then swallowed up, blood and all, by Kali.

                      7. Dancing goddess
Kali, eh? Everyone worships her but there's one thing about her that we have to be careful not to mimic. After her battle with Raktavija she became intoxicated by the blood and her victory and she started to dance. She danced and danced, and because of that it has caused an imbalance in the world even to this day.

                      8. Trampling goddess
But, nobody can do anything to stop her. To prevent any further harm Kali's husband Shiva laid down on the ground at her feet so that she would step on him and not the ground. What kind of wife steps on her husband like that...? Anyway, if you look around the outskirts of town should be able to find a Kali statue somewhere.

                      9. Statue of a bizarre Hindu goddess
There is a strange-looking goddess in Hinduism named Kali. Both her appearance and the stories surrounding her were quite strange. Apparently i may be able to find a statue of her if i search the outskirts of town. I should try looking around the slanted rocks to the south.
