                      Ah, you mean the bird that lives in the forest, yeah. A grey one who can't fly for toffee, but can remember and speak the spoken word. I don't mean parrotry, either--it speaks. Eats more than its fair share, so not many people raising 'em.... Wait now, there was a small girl raising them in town. Ask her.

                      You mean Lye? He's at my house now. Lye was in the forest, injured, and I rescued him. He's all better now, but doesn't want to go home. Lots in the forest, there are. One's in the forest can't speak though; only my Lye can do that. Pretty cool, huh.

                      3. A grey bird called a bullfinch
                      Lye, it would seem that's the local name for birds of this type. Story is they inhabit the vicinity of the disembarkment point east of Saint-Georges. Investigate the area of the blooming red flowers in the northeast.

                          A plain and sober parakeet that is gray all over, except for the tip of its tail which is red. Although plain looking, it is very intelligent, and they say that it doesn't just mimic what it hears, but can hold a simple conversation if you teach it well. It doesn't seem to fly too well.
