1. Achievement of having found a valuable sapphire
I heard you know a lot about gemstones and you found a sapphire west of India. The sapphires out that way are very popular and very valuable. I can't bekueve you found that big and of that quality! I'm sure you can handle this job for me no problem.

2. Wealthy merchant vs. shop keeper, sapphire show down
I want you to do some research on sapphires for me. A wealthy merchant has been pretty picky of the sapphires I've ordered for him. I got several different types from several different locations but he didn't like a single one of them. So, my plan is try and get some sapphires in from places that I hadn't heard of before and see if he likes those.

3. Desiring a transparent blue
The two characteristics the trade mogul wants in his sapphire are first that is must be blue. Second, it must be somewhat transparent. The sapphires I ordered in were from mines near Pegu and Ceylon. He said that the sapphires from Pegu were too dark of a blue and that the ones from Ceylon were too light.

4. Conclusion is an unknown vein
I want you to see if you can find a sapphire that the mogul might like from somewhere other than these two places. All the sapphires I got from famous locations were not good enough for him. I suppose the only thing we can do is look for relatively unknown mines and see if he likes those any better.. Of course, places that produce sapphires probably have the most information about them circulating around. I suppose you could start by asking around Pegu and Ceylon to see what you can gather.

5. Find the vein of sapphire 1
Well in that case you could probably shouldn't look for a perfectly blue sapphire but instead look around mines that produce many different colours of crystals. Most of the mines that produce bluish-grey crystals have probably already been discovered. Sapphires are famous for being blue but they're not limited to that. Of course, you know about padparadscha sapphires so I guess I don't have to tell you that.

6. Find the vein of sapphire 2
Raw sapphires ore is slightly grey in colour. If you didn't know anything about sapphires and found that kind of rock you'd probably never guess it was a sapphire by looking at it. If you're looking for different coloured sapphire you might have better luck if you try searching in an area that doesn't have very much knowledge of or experience with gemstones on a regular basis.

7. Find the vein of sapphire 3
Somewhere where you can find many different coloured crystals, grey ore, and a place with little knowledge of gemstones... I heard from an Adventurer that was exploring Madagascar that he found many veins of gemstones there full of many colourful gemstones, but I haven't heard of any sapphires being found there. Don't think I'm gonna go all the way out there to check for you either...

8. An artistically skilled adventurer?
Well, I don't think it's the same Adventurer that you are talking about but I once saved an Adventurer that I found in trouble once. After he recovered from his injuries he ground down one of the grey stones we were using as whetstones and lo and behold it turned out to be a clear gem as blue as the sea! It was almost like magic... Maybe he was a messenger of the spirits... If you want to take a look at that stone then go talk to the Town Official. He should have it somewhere.

9. Protecting of god
The stone is right here behind me. Unfortunately, I can't give it to you. Ever since that Adventurer made this stone the seas have calmed and the number of storms we encountered has greatly decreased. Obviously this stone is protecting us somehow. That Adventurer was a travelling god and this stone is his protection over us. If you want to have a look at it then by all means go ahead, as long as you can appreciate the great craftsmanship that went into its creation.

10. A yet unseen blue
The people of this town seem to have little knowlegde of gemstones, seeing as how they often use them as whetstones. I think it will take some time to mine for gemstones in this area but I should still let the Market Keeper in Jakarta know of my findings. I had the chance to look at the gemstone behind the Town Official, so I should also report what kind of sapphire that was as well.
