      Jakarta Adventurer's Guild
Congratulations for reaching Rapa Nui. It was long trip, was it not? It is amazing that people long ago migrated to such a place. Unfortunately we still do not know the location of Hawaiiki, but I think something might turn up if you go investigate Rapa Nui. Therefore, please go speak to the Port Official of Amboina

                              1. Hawaiki and Hiba
The people of Rapa Nui are said to have migrated from the land of Hiva near Hawaiki, right? So that means that there is a high probability that the people of Rapa Nui retain the culture of Hiva. If you do some research on their culture maybe you can learn more about the culture of Hiva and subsequently get one step closer to finding Hawaiki.

                              2. Perhaps if the statue is investigated
According to Tahitian legend statues of the emissaries from Hiva were erected there, right? So why don't you try investigating those statues for clues? You can often learn about how the people of a certain place think through their construction of idols. There must be some sort of common link there somewhere...

                              3. Rock under investigation
...This is a strange rock. It seems to be of a different material than the surrounding rocks. Maybe it was carried in from somewhere? There are also many strange spots that look eroded away, so it's hard to imagine what it once looked like.
I should search among the surrounding rocks some more.

                              4. Another rock under investigation
...There are markings that suggest something was placed on top of here. Judging by the discolouration and indentation whatever it was on there for a long time. This rock must be made of a different material from the other rocks after all. This kind of rock is usually seen at the foot mountains... no, volcanoes even. Well, there's no statue to be found so I should head inland some more and look for a road.

                              5. Searching Hawaiki
I took on the task of surveying Rapa Nui again in order to try and find clues to the location of Hiva and ultimately Hawaiki. According to Tahitian legend statues were erected in honour of the seven emissaries who travelled there from Hawaiki, but I cannot find them anywhere on Rapa Nui. I wonder about that rock that seems to have been carried there from a mountain. I should head further inland and look for more clues.

Rano means volcano, and Raraku means carve the ground. It is the location at the base of the volcano where moai were created. Nearby, you can see many unfinished moai.
