FCV have 1113 dura offical plated +1 armor 4/4 +70 dura begin with. FCV vs FFCV same armor value, same speed, same crew size.

The only good point is it have lower level value.

Actually this ship is pretty good, 7/7 max imp put it on the top with like 1356 dura, speed is better then MFCV because lower cargo it have and high armor. Its 2 armor less then AFCV

and 4 armor more then MSF, this ship can really kick MSF ass IF a AFCV can this ship can too. that 100 extra dura is well worth it.

I have MSF and MNG both with igp and i would not trade them away for a ship without igp, besides ffcv and msf/mng is in different leagues. For me mext ship will be a mix igp/melee. Maybe afcv/av, but thats just me.

Personally I would not trade MSF for this ship the missing 50 dura must hurt a lot if you think of how others talk about AV's lower dura at least AV has more armor/turn/wave/sails and sits in the back with Improved Gunport same goes for MSF but this FFCV's play style is just vulnerable and perhaps it is not tanky enough to play that role good as aide ship still.

If he did not use metal work then it would be normal success, using metal work x2 will lead to not max sail x1 will lead to 105/110 (assuming he';s smart enough to use large square sail x1, dgaff x3, dstorm x3). So perhaps he had a single fail on armor and great success on vertical sail (which is easy to get) or perhaps he just didn't choose metal work (which he should have... 1 armor > 5 sails any day for battle ship).

Unless you are desperately afraid of enemy's heavily armored sterncastle... Otherwise (eg, if you think they will use ram or corvus) you are better off using command post and with that build you can easily get full dura/sails comparable turn/wave just 3 less armor for 0 x Dgaff and 2 x Dstorm... Since Dstorms are going for 250m a piece in the past week it's a much cheaper build that's easy to achieve (DIY for 7b ticket and under 600m worth of sails, ship parts, sb cost) - Of course, you need to find someone selling FFCV first, and there have been trades going on just not as much as other ships currently in TBox.

Long story short, if you need a FFCV like NOW then buy at high price (16b lol?) if you can wait then save up 8b and you can get a similar ship.

Also, special sterncastle is overrated... If they use 2 heavily armored stern castle you reduce their attack by 40-50 which is roughly the offense penalty people are now accepting to hire noob sailors to beat MIS/MSF (not allow their welcome melee to activate). So overall players need lower offense to beat MIS/MSF and even if they don't do that well you shouldn't die in melee in a FCV type ship unless you are disordered or unless your teammates did not learn surgery (lol more?).

A good ffcv without d.gaffs is hard to make but my guess is good armour and turn, wr to 11 stormproof, max sails and dura (250), minimum hull and no added ports. You need a r20 shipbuilder all the way. Now this ship fails easily so alot of luck is needed too. I had one before with 6 d.sails, i thought it was a fail but was offered alot for it, now its gone.

If so, I'd recommend L.Latin x3 L.Square x2 D.storm x2
FS parts for Attack Prev Net and Command Post
Then ImpRope x5 Special Shiphold x5
gives you max dura 125/125 sails (so you can go beyond -20% cargo for speed) +8 turn +10 wave +5 armour

Haven't seen one being sold since the TB released so this is speculation. But I think the price will probably stay around 7b since this is a great all round ship that can hang with the big boys at a fraction of the price. Just my thoughts though so take it for what it's worth.

when we compare FFCV vs AFCV the difference are not that much. But right now AFCV is sold 20b. FFCV is an awesome alternative. with the maney saved build it with only delpin gaff sail and delphin storm sail and u still have saved...

8b vs 20b for not that many differences...anytime

- 1 turn speed less
- 2 armor less
- more crew
- 10 more cargo
- lower maritime requirements

I say save your ducets and find yourself a FFCV.

You must be high... FFCV only goes 7/7 and AFCV goes 8/8, this gives you much more options to Godmod build with delphins and lower cargo range settings.. Ive seen AFCVs out there with Max Armor along with Max Dura, FFCVs never get that much armor with proper mod.. AFCV also has IGP skill and 15 more crew. AFCV is much better..

Also you got robbed. 8.5b is too much for an unmodded FFCV. If your posting that rant to find some reassurance that you made a good transaction, that's a fail too.

I say save your ducats a little longer and get an AFCV.

1) If URB ever scammed you, what you are doing here on ivyro.net must be pissing them off. URB will probably post on UWO forum with screenshots of you dealing with them. Since you are not Jazzmin, you will be banned permanently by NM.
