MBF is the top ESF light ship, CRG may have 10 imp compared to MBF which only has 6 but the overall stats, MBF already has a great advantage:

Dura: MBF 300, CRG 188 = MBF wins (+112)
Turn: MBF 12, CRG 10 = MBF wins (+2)
Wave: MBF 6, CRG 1 = MBF wins (+5)
Armr: MBF 18, CRG 11 = MBF wins (+7)
Sail: MBF 183V,49H, CRG 26V,124H = MBF wins (+80?)
Salr: MBF 40+?, CRG 112? = CRG wins (+70?)

Even if you can match the +++ of MBF with just the additional 4 imps, its still just going to be equal. :)

did you just compare a HEAVY SHIP (msf) to a LIGHT ship CRG ? these classes dont ever fight each other.. this is compared to flutes and gunboats, and gunboats are better.
