Its very difficult to rank up jewellry trading without favored skill till r5 ,, just like spice trading

But you can raise the spice in europe and when raise level go back to india

You can also raise jewl trade easily in europe right? Plym/Hamb have Malachite then Copenh has Amber so if you're grinding casting you would easily get yourself to R3 even if you don't have it as favored (or buy coral if you're often in west Euro/Africa). Jewl Trade +2 items are everywhere that would easily allow you to meet requirements for the job quest. Question is, is it worth getting this skill if you can get jewl from Giza/Luxor etc. which is more convenient and faster also with dungeons a lot of cities now have precious stones' price plumbering in the past it's usually spice that has collapsed markets.

Yeah , i think dungeon is fastest way to obtain gold - etc , other precious stone
Another ways is shipwreck ,,so this job is not good

this job like any other is easy to grind the first 5 ranks without favoured you just aint gonna make a ton of cash to start try buying a few item boosts early on there are lots for this job
as for spice well just remember that spices are sold in EU also they aint massively profitable -between Palma n Valencia? ther are probably 6 spices you can buy to grind your buying power
