Goodness gracious don't bust ona a level 5x maritimer wanting a hull to make a vaiss. There is a LONG ways between level 52 and level 69 and a well made 5/5 vaiss will get you all the way there. I don't see the point in making a 5/5 iron vaiss since it will cost you more in ssips and won't be as good as one made with this hull.

80m on the hull + 20 FS parts that cost 5-10m/ea + 28 SSIP to go 5/5

--> 500~800m or 400~600m if you have skill & time to make those parts yourself or your compmate give it to you for free
and still not count ~100m total modding fee

meanwhile a 5/5 or 6/6 paneled vaiss only 400-500m

that's why i dont bother making it with hull

bought one 5/5 portu paneled vaiss when i hit 52 for 350m , made it 6/6 when i hit 57 & sold it for 600m when i hit 66

you just compared making a ship yourself to buying one pre-made. Doesn't really add up. Compare the cost of making a 5/5 official vs making a 5/5 iron and see how that comes out.

reminder

With the SB redesign, official hulls no longer give military panel to your ship. You'll have to bring the appropriate paneling if you want one on your ship.
